Precisely because of these times, 'What I can do now'

First, I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the '2026 Kumamoto Earthquake' and to their bereaved families.
I also sincerely pray that those who are still forced to live in evacuation centers or face difficult living conditions will be able to return to a peaceful daily life as soon as possible.
Normally, this is where the gorilla 🦍 would crack his usual jokes, but today I have a slightly more serious topic to discuss.
What is it that I can do?
I cannot rush to the disaster area.
I cannot operate heavy machinery. (Oh wait, I actually can 💦)
I am neither a doctor nor a firefighter.
Even so, I felt that just ending it with 'there is nothing I can do' didn't feel quite right.
At such a time, a phrase suddenly came to mind.
It is a quote from 'Fullmetal Alchemist,' spoken on the battlefield by the doctor, Pinako Rockbell:
'Doing good for show is better than doing nothing at all.'
I am borrowing these words.
(Hiromu Arakawa-sensei, thank you for letting me borrow your words.)
The name 'Haganu no Renkinjutsushi' (Fullmetal Alchemist)
Actually, I recently changed my creator name just a little bit.
'Haganu no Renkinjutsushi & Run-chan (Shiba Inu Female)'
...Why now, you ask?
Actually, there isn't really any significant origin for the name 'Haganu no Renkinjutsushi' (lol).
It's not a direct play on 'Fullmetal Alchemist',
but after seeing a parody that appeared in 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime',
"This is interesting!"
I thought, and decided to use it just like that😆
In short,
it's a copy of a copy (lol).
However, this name ended up causing unexpected trouble later on.
It doesn't show up in searches at all.
AI treats it as a typo. (Like, 'You mean a Fullmetal bot, right?'💦)
When Chappy asked me about the origin of the name before,
"So you put the meaning of transmuting sentences into it, didn't you?"
I was even given such a cool interpretation.
No.
I just copied it because it was funny (lol).
Reality is much simpler and, surprisingly, more shabby than fiction.
A post from half a year ago turned into an unexpected corporate project.
Half a year ago.
"Nobody's going to read this anyway."
That's what I thought while writing a credit card article as a hobby.
Then, one day half a year later,
I received a proposal for a feature from Epos Card through an agency.
Honestly, you really never know what will happen in life.
Every cloud has a silver lining.
I never imagined that article would catch the eye of a company.
The one card I still use today
What I am introducing this time is,
the iPet 'My Child' Epos Card.
I didn't get it for the purpose of pet insurance, but rather,
'I want to make a card with Run-chan❤️ on it.'
That was the sole reason I issued it (just kidding) (~_~;)
I am properly enrolled in both the iPet 'My Child' outpatient and surgery insurance plans.

The good points
・You can create a one-of-a-kind original card (copyrighted works and edited images are ❌)
・No annual fee, ever
・ETC card is also free
・Available for immediate use via the app after passing the screening
・Numberless design for peace of mind and security
- You can donate a portion of your points to animal welfare organizations, etc.
- You can also use regular Epos Card benefits, such as Marui discounts.
A slightly disappointing point
- If you switch to a Gold card, it becomes the standard design.
- The credit limit is not high since it is a standard card.
- The international brand is Visa only.
- You can only have one Epos Card per person.
- The investment accumulation options are a bit underwhelming.
- The point return rate is 0.5%, which is a bit disappointing.
From a gorilla's perspective...
The most troublesome thing is,
that I cannot upgrade to a Gold card.
Actually, I have received invitations several times.
But...
If I switch to Gold,
Run-chan❤️ disappears.
This is impossible.
Even for a Gold card enthusiast like me,
this is the one thing I cannot compromise on (lol).
It's also popular with the ladies at the register (lol).
When I pull out this card,
quite often,
'It's cute,'
I am told.
Every time that happens,
in my heart,
'I know, right? 😆'
I pump my fist in victory (lol).
Because I'm a doting parent.
And, my favorite thing about this card is
that a portion of the points used
can be donated to an organization of my choice.
Continuing to donate,
is not as easy as it sounds.
To do it continuously every month from my own wallet...
honestly, that is quite difficult.
But,
if it's points earned from everyday shopping,
I can continue without strain.
Triggered by this earthquake,
Once again
'I realized there are forms of support like this too.'
I thought.

In conclusion
This time, I was approached with a corporate partnership offer.
Even so,
I cannot write,
'This is great!'
for things I don't use myself.
This has never changed for me.
This card,
is something I actually use myself,
and I am introducing it because it is still my absolute favorite.
And, regarding the compensation I will receive this time,
as one of the things I can do myself right now,
I plan to donate a portion of the proceeds to support the disaster-stricken areas.
I cannot do anything grand.
But, I can continue doing small things.
That is what I believe.

※I apologize for the fact that the application URL for this project is for the Epos Card rather than the iPet 'Uchi no Ko' Card. m(_ _)m
However!!
That is the gorilla in me🦍
Since I am a fool, I am a damn idiot who will ignore the project and post the URL for the iPet 'Uchi no Ko' Card regardless of profit or loss😆
That is the go-ri-lla's good point♬ (lol)

If I only wrote good things just because it is a corporate project, I wouldn't be a gorilla🦍, would I? (I am sure that all of you readers believe in such extreme stupidity of this gorilla and continue to read my posts)😆
Thank you for staying with me until the end. m(_ _)m
