The words I received from a parent on the day it was known I was quitting teaching gave me the push I needed
The grade I walked with for six years
The grade that graduated last March 2025, now in their first year of university.
These are the students I moved up with for six years, from their first year of junior high to their third year of high school.
They were a grade I felt particularly attached to throughout my teaching career.
I served as the grade head from their second year of junior high through their third year of high school.
Looking back, so many things really happened (laughs).
Even so, there was one core principle I always cherished.
To create an environment where students can learn freely and comfortably.
I continued to manage the grade with that goal in mind.
The news of my 'resignation' that I hadn't shared yet
Actually, I had only told a few graduates that I would be resigning in March 2026.
However, at a club alumni gathering held at the beginning of the year, I heard that the rumor 'Mr. Sota is apparently quitting' was spreading among the first-year university students.
Honestly, I was surprised.
At the same time, I was deeply moved that they were still talking about me even after graduation.
Unforgettable words received from a parent
In the midst of all this,
I received a message of support from a parent of a student in that grade.
I cannot write the details,
but the moment I read it, I was speechless.
The word 'grateful' is not enough.
I simply felt nothing but gratitude.
Furthermore,
'I will introduce your cram school's website to everyone once it's ready'
is what they even told me.
There is no greater encouragement than this.
Next, to the students of the future
From now on,
I will face the students of the future
at a new place: an online university entrance exam tutoring school.
With the words I received this time in my heart,
I will carefully proceed one by one with the preparations to deliver a high-quality learning environment.
I will move forward with care, one step at a time.
If there is anyone right now who feels,
“I am looking for a truly reliable place to learn,”
please keep an eye on my future updates.
This step is connected to someone else's life in the future.
