Summer is definitely all about 'camping'

I want to grow with you.

Kurosaki Nao's 2024SummerBash

☀This article is a participant entry for Nao Kurosaki's project☀

And so it begins~

Types of learning

There are broadly three ways to
"learn something",
such as studying or acquiring knowledge.

1. Research and learn on your own by asking people or reading books about things you are interested in.

Satisfying intellectual curiosity is the motivation and reward
. 2. You are not particularly interested, but you can get what you want by acquiring it. →

Use items, etc., as rewards to encourage learning.

3. You have no interest at all, but if you don't acquire it, you will be penalized.
→ Forcing learning by creating a worse environment than the current one.

The way to make someone hate studying is number 3.

Once the concept that
"studying is painful" has taken root,

it becomes an unconscious barrier
to acting proactively.

On the other hand,
if you acquire learning through method 1,
the concept that "studying is painful" will not take root,

and your intellectual curiosity to
"want to know more" will naturally grow.

This is not limited to children.

Even in my own circle,
I feel that people who are capable at work and achieve results
are without exception mostly type 1.

It is not that there are no elements of type 3,
but

even in situations that might seem painful to others,
it seems that many people
rather perceive them as type 1.

Let the children
have many experiences like (1),

As an activity that adults can also get involved in,
the Edase family has always recommended
'camping'.

For summer, 'camping' is the only choice

Today is 'Marine Day'.
Summer is almost here, but

For the Edase family's summer vacation,
'camping' is the only choice.

When the Obon holidays arrive,
we pack our camping gear into the car
(packing so much that we can't see out of the rearview mirror)

and while visiting
campsites in each region,
we would travel for about a week.

Over the past three years,
the places we have traveled to are,

2021... Shikoku
2022... Tohoku (Miyagi, Aomori, Akita)
2023... Nagasaki, Iki

We are taking a break this year, and next year we'll go to Hokkaido, and the year after that to Okinawa!

In this article,
while showing you photos,

I would like to write about
how 'camping' can be a rich experience
for both children and adults.

Being in touch with nature fills you with vitality

When swimming in the ocean,
the sound of the waves, the rustling of the wind, the scenery of the great outdoors.
The feeling of sand under your bare feet...

When you touch nature,
or play in nature,

both children and adults,

feel enveloped in euphoria,
feel their spirits lift,
and feel vitality welling up.

If you take them to a good playground,
you don't need any logic, do you?

Even if you leave the children alone,
they start playing with sparkling eyes.

HEADQUARTERS Compfield (Niigata Prefecture)
Ugusu Campsite (Nishi-Izu)
Utarube Campground (Aomori)
Ichibanboshi Village (Chiba)
Cycling across the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge while camping (Imabari, Ehime)
Fireworks festival near a Sado campground

Everyone can play as they like

You can watch fireworks together, or

you can stare into a bonfire by yourself, or it's fun to be in charge of grilling meat for the BBQ.

Even though you're at the beach, it's fine to read a book all day, or you can keep swimming out to the open sea.

At night inside the tent, there's a card tournament, magic tricks...
Of course, it's also fine to go to sleep early.

Edase is all about beer (lol)

Everyone
spends their time as they like.

That 'freedom' is what's great about it.

It's mostly guys who gather around the bonfire.
Fireworks are a classic
You want to explore the secluded spots
Reading at the beach. Well, why not?
Bravely heading for the open sea alone. That's actually dangerous, you know! 💦

Enjoying the accidents

You never know what will happen when camping.

It's so windy that things get blown away, and sudden heavy rain is just part of the deal.

When I go to the bathroom at night,
there's an insect I've never seen before—💦

Once that starts to become fun,
you really can't stop camping.

When it starts pouring rain, I actually feel like getting wet.
It's hard to tell in the photo, but it was a giant spider I'd never seen before!
My child's scream is hilarious (lol)

Regarding camping,
I haven't really been conscious of making it look good for social media until now,

so when I go from now on,
I'll make sure to prepare photos and articles
with posting to note in mind!

Summer has only just begun.

Let's make this another great summer (˶˙๏˙˶)♡

Thank you for reading until the end.
I'm so happy I could blow bubbles (˶˙๏˙˶)♡
