~Teichiku Idol Strategy Battle in Tower Records Shibuya Dungeon~ TEICHIKU IDOL PARTY 2025 [Impressions]
A tower where goddesses descend upon the heavens and the underworld.
For an otaku who has played quite a few RPGs, an event where you go back and forth between the rooftop and the basement to watch idols is bound to be exciting.
The event where Teichiku idols gather has finally arrived...!!
On Saturday, March 15, 2025, I participated in TEICHIKU IDOL PARTY 2025, held at Tower Records Shibuya.
This event featured idol groups belonging to the music label Teichiku Entertainment all holding release events at once.
It was held one month after a sudden survey from the official Teichiku account in February.

This was an event I had been wishing for ever since ukka made their major debut from Teichiku Entertainment. I didn't expect it to happen so soon, so I hadn't booked a flight and only managed to book a night bus for the return trip...
My main interests were ukka and CYNHN. And Mr. Music, which featured one member selected from each of the five groups.
(Yufu Terashima, or Yuffy, wasn't there this time, perhaps because she was on tour or because the event was focused on groups rather than solo acts, but since I originally wanted to see ukka, CYNHN, and Yuffy at the same event, I hope it happens with Yuffy included in 2026...)
Since CYNHN had a Part 0 (?)
I warmed up on the stairs of O-Crest.
Here, they performed "Raku no Uwanuri," "Suisei," "Nominee," "Synthese," "Tokenai Kaimenron," "Kirigunia," "2-ji no Parade," the collaboration song "Largo," and a cover of Memi Kosoi's "Kuuki to Ink."
Tower Records Shibuya. As I headed toward the basement, a poster greeted me.

When I arrived, free admission for NANIMONO had started, so I decided to start my strategy of TEICHIKU IDOL PARTY 2025 from there.
Timetable

NANIMONO Part 1 (B1F)
CYNHN's "Nominee" was playing as the background music while the doors were open.
They made a brave entrance after a grand opening SE, each holding a sword with frills, or perhaps a lightsaber(?). I was intrigued by Mifuyu Hiiragi in blue and Purin Nemugishi in yellow.
The first song, “Mikakunin Seibutsu”, felt very Teichiku-esque. (?)
“Inkyano Kyakyakya” was a song I had studied! As a twisted nerd, I felt like I was being punched in the gut repeatedly, but... () It had a bright, anthemic feel.
“Inkyano Fire”—I assumed it was an homage to the Super Eurobeat classic NIKO's “Night of Fire,” and while there was some Para Para-style choreography, it was actually different () Yuma Hinata in orange gave a lecture, telling us to raise both hands and open and close them!
During the final MC, Purin Nemugishi announced their appearance at Mr. Music. Having seen them once, I felt a sense of familiarity, so I'm looking forward to Mr. Music even more now!
CYNHN merchandise (B1F) -> Event Space (5F)
After the show, I lined up for CYNHN merchandise, and in a moment of weakness, I ended up one 2-shot bonus ticket short for the badges, so I headed to the badge-making corner on the 5th floor for now.
A Teichiku staff member told me that they had also been given and were carrying the Yoshio Yamamoto Metalization Project T-shirts.
I selected a design from the tablet, chose whether or not to include my own photo, and picked whose badge I wanted from each group.
First, I used one ticket to select a Neru Tsukumo badge. They forged it for me, and I received an exchange ticket.
They told me it would take about 3 minutes, so I should come back to pick it up once it was ready.

Then I went back down to the first basement floor, lined up for CYNHN merchandise again, reserved another one, and got one more bonus ticket and two badge-making tickets. (I'm such an idiot...)
Returning to the 5th floor, the staff member recognized me, saying, "You're back again, aren't you?" I selected the designs for ukka's Riju Murahoshi and Ruri Aoi badges and got my exchange tickets.
Then, I mistakenly thought the Mr. Music exchange ticket corner next to the badge-making corner was for reserving individual slots to get Mr. Music admission tickets, but I wouldn't find out until later that the Mr. Music admission ticket I got at the CYNHN merchandise booth was what you exchange there... (I'm such an idiot...)
Also, ukka's merchandise sales started at 3:00 PM. I thought, "It's about 15 minutes before the CYNHN line-up, so I might as well wait," but when I took the elevator down, there was a huge line...
And Fudanjuku's first part had just ended too... I could have made it... Strategy failed. 50 damage to me!
At the end of the line, I scanned the QR code to fill out the reservation form so I could pay immediately, then retreated to the CYNHN entrance line...
CYNHN Part 1 (B1F)
The line-up was on the stairs. Since I had the best queue number of my life, 3, those from 1 to 50 were directed to the stairs below the B1F level.
At first, I lined up lower down, but it turned out the younger numbers were supposed to be higher up, so I had to re-line up with the woman who had a nearby number.
Feeling nervous, I managed to get to the front row for the first time in three years since the ukka Seishun Shousetsu release event in Osaka, so I took my spot on the stage right. I managed to get right in front of the speaker...
The background music during the door opening sounded like NANIMONO songs.
They appeared after the entrance SE. As announced, Toru Aoyagi was absent due to poor health. It was a performance by the three of them.
And the members who appeared. Wow, Neru Tsukumo's aura or presence looks so big...! (Well, it's because she's close)
(Her face is so small, her style is too good, her eyes are huge, and her nose, mouth, and other features look like Roman sculptures...)
1st song “Enough Inus”! An overwhelming performance that made you feel no void in the performance. I was immediately floored by Shiki Ayase's wild, bending vocals, and the A-melody with its rolled 'r' sounds was so cool I bowed down.
Watching CYNHN's “Enough Inus” from the front row on the right, right in front of the speaker, the pressure was intense and it was such a luxury...
2nd song “Amedama”! Neru-chan's opening vocals had an overwhelming queen-like quality that was irresistible.
The combo from “Enough Inus” combined with the pressure of the speaker right in front of me was so perfect I reached a climax.
3rd song “Kirigunia”! I'm happy I could hear this since Memi Koshio's birthday celebration! They covered Toru-chan's parts with unisons between Shiki-chan and Neru-chan.
Self-introductions. Regarding the empty space, Shiki-chan and the others introduced the member who was absent due to poor health, saying, "Toru Aoyagi is here with us too."
The MC was from Neru-chan. She said something to the effect of, "Even though we're a long-standing group under Teichiku, I'm happy that our family, or rather, our relative groups, are increasing. I want to do a Teichiku event again," and as a fan of Neru, I was moved.
4th song “Nominee” was also something I heard at Memi Koshio's birthday celebration earlier! Minori Hirose's dance during the interlude was so cool it gave me chills...
CYNHN Special Event (B1F)
The group shot session took place after the send-off event. When ukka's "Teen Spirit" was playing in the background, Shiki-chan did a hula dance with a cool expression during the reggae part, and it was awesome.
For the 2-shot photos, lines were formed for all three members at once, but the line for Neru started a beat later due to instant camera adjustments. It was funny and fun to watch Shiki-chan and Minori-chan sliding around until the 2-shot session started. lol
Assa used 3 special event tickets and took a 2-shot with CYNHN's Neru Tsukumo! Life points recovered by 300! Happiness increased by 5!
Maybe because I took it while wearing my Joji Yamamoto Metalization Project T-shirt, Neru-chan asked me, "Is this your first time with CYNHN?" and I'm just a delusional fan who got all excited ()

ukka Part 1 (9F)
I was super out of breath after climbing the stairs up to the 5th floor ()
I didn't buy merchandise, so I entered with a free admission ticket.
I was hoping the schedule would be running a bit behind, so I was at the merchandise counter getting my QR code scanned and receiving my special event tickets when the Overture "We are..." started playing. The staff member kindly rushed to help me, but I felt so bad...
The first song was "TOUTOI" . It was announced in advance that there would be a "TOUTOI Time" where photography was allowed, but since it wasn't during the performance of this song, the staff member in the lower space was holding up a sign saying photography was prohibited.
The sound of rain in the extended SE for the intro performance matched the cloudy venue, which looked like it was about to start raining at any moment.
Self-introductions. And then, TOUTOI Time. Moa Serizawa was calling out energetically, but she was stumbling over her words and mumbling, so she just pushed through with sheer momentum. lol
Moa Serizawa and Tomo Miyazawa came over to the space nearby.
"Tokyo Landed Girl" was the first time I'd heard it, but from the intro, it was the kind of stylish pop music that hits my preferences perfectly. I was happy thinking, "This is the same style as 963's 'sugar love' or Kinmoku-sei's 'Smile'!"
And Ruri-chan has so many parts! I'm so happy! I want to see more!
Apparently, each member is playing a different girl who has moved to Tokyo, so I want to pay attention to that next time.
"Tomei" was also on the study playlist prepared in advance by Teichiku, and I deeply felt again what a truly good song it is. I couldn't see Rina-chan, who I always watch in the D-melody, coming to help Ruri-chan from the back, so I watched with my mind's eye.
Since it was a Teichiku event, the MC mentioned that Kobushimaru penlights were on sale this time, and they asked if anyone had bought one.
They also mentioned that you could make pin badges at the event space on the 5F, and talked about whose design would be best to use for the photo you take to become a pin badge together.
When asked who they were interested in, Rina Yuki mentioned the name of Taiyo Tendo from Fudanjuku.
Apparently, they talked during the poster shoot.
Moa-chan said she wanted to be the one on the pin badge. lol
And Ruri Aoi said she wanted to take a picture with a cute person, so she chose herself. lol
"Trip To The TKY" was also the first time I'd seen it personally, and while the inorganic feel of the song starting from the piano intro that evokes a Japanese vibe will probably grow on me, my heartstrings weren't quite ready for it yet. But the MV is good, and I might come to love it once the CD arrives and I listen to it a lot.
Since it started raining quite a bit, with drops falling here and there, it was announced that the special event would be held at the 5F event space.

The members left the stage, and everyone began their march toward the 5F event space.
ukka Special Event (5F)
I went down to the 5F event space and handed the staff member my 3 exchange tickets.
Assa got all 3 pin badges that were being made! Happiness increased by 5!
Meanwhile, Moa-chan was talking with Hikiniku-san, and the members entered the venue, starting the special event at the stage in the back.
Common to CYNHN and the others, lines were formed for the send-off party, pinky-promise party, 4-shot, and 3-shot, and after that, lines for 2-shots were formed for Moa Serizawa, Rina Yuki, Sora Akane, Ruri Aoi, Koharu Wakana, Tomo Miyazawa, and Riju Murahoshi (roughly speaking).
Ruri-chan was in the middle, and Riju-chan's line was formed toward the end.
Due to the sudden change in the special event venue, time was tight, so the commemorative photo was canceled, but it couldn't be helped ()
I used 3 special event tickets each to take 2-shots with Riju-chan and Ruri-chan!
Life points recovered by 600!
Happiness increased by 10!

The special event ended, and next, I headed back to CUT UP on B1F.
Mr. Music Part 1 (B1F)
I went downstairs with my otaku friends, but realized I hadn't exchanged my voucher on the 5th floor. Assa took 50 damage!
I went back up the escalator to the 5th floor, exchanged the voucher, and got my admission ticket!
When I returned to B1F via the escalator, I was able to watch from somewhere behind the middle.
The members of Mr. Music, one from each group, appeared on stage.
Seeing CYNHN's Shiki Ayase and ukka's Moa Serizawa standing on the same stage gave me a sense of reassurance and comfort.
And since I had also seen NANIMONO's Purin Nemugishi for the first time a few hours earlier, I felt a sense of familiarity and reassurance.
In the MC, they mentioned that this stage was actually the first time they had all performed together. The way Kanta Yuzuki from Fudanjuku said, 'Everyone is busy, after all...' gave me a great sense of comfort and nostalgia; I thought I only knew Kyan-san from Fudanjuku...
Shiki Ayase-san, it's cute how nervous she is.
Only Shiki Ayase-chan and Moa Serizawa-chan had met during recording. A grateful connection...
I was thrilled by the comfort of Moa-chan's singing voice and Shiki Ayase-chan's incredibly skilled vocals. Moa-chan's English was bright and fluent.
During the final line for each person, Moa-chan was cute.
Shiki-chan, who accidentally skipped her line, was very cute.
Kanta-san recovering was cool.
As I was leaving after the performance, I heard a nearby fan react, 'That girl Shiki Ayase was good. It seems like everyone in the group CYNHN is good,' which warmed my heart. Assa's life points recovered by 500.
Here, I ate dinner and left the Tower Records Shibuya Dungeon for the Shibuya field to prepare for the final battle of Part 2.
McDonald's had turned into a Korean burger joint, and while the system of ordering and picking up at your seat was something I hadn't experienced before and looked fun, it was crowded and time was ticking away, so I went to the safe and reliable Fuji Soba.
They were playing enka, which was the most appropriate refueling time for a Teichiku event.

CYNHN - 2nd Part (5F)
I returned to the event space on the 5th floor, and while waiting, the rehearsal took place.
They played and checked "Kirigunia" and "Tokyo stuck." Neru-chan was laughing happily during the "Kirigunia" check, and Shiki-chan was laughing happily during the "Tokyo stuck" check. lol
Ayase Shiki-san called out to the people on the 5th floor that CYNHN would be performing a live show.
Even though I had queue number 25, not many lower numbers had been called, so I went to the front row on the stage right side again.
They appeared after the entrance SE. As expected, Neru-chan has big eyes, a small face, a long neck, is slim, and has a great aura or presence...
1st song "Suisei" ! The microphone howled, and Minori-chan chuckled a little. lol
2nd song "Tokyo stuck" was the first time I'd heard it since the Fukuoka tour, but it's fun to jump during "Tokyo stuck!". The normal version, which is "Tokyo" and not a local version, actually felt fresh.
3rd song "Kirigunia" was a song I heard a lot in one day, but it's a favorite song that I'm happy to hear any number of times, so it was the best.
At the end, Minori-chan sliding forward like a baseball player was cool, and it felt like a bit of foreshadowing for the 1st part's special event.
During the MC, Ayase Shiki-chan mentioned that Fudanjuku's Yuzuki Kanta-san was watching from the stage left side! So hot!
Shiki-chan had a lot she wanted to say, but she organized her thoughts and asked Kanta-san for empathy, saying, "Before online events existed, we used to do release events every single day, didn't we!?" while glancing at him. lol
Shiki-chan seemed grateful that even though there are fewer release events now than before, people are gathering in person like this.
Then, Minori-chan started to stumble on the English word "New..." for April, and Neru-chan followed up with "Song"! lol
Shiki-chan asked us to Pre-add/Pre-save the new song "Iki no Shikata" on streaming services.
Shiki-chan said she would "submit" the album "INVERSION" that includes them. lol All three of them seemed tired, but their vocabulary was so funny that they were actually sharp. lol
4th song "Largo" ...! Wow, the second time in one day! I was incredibly happy to see CYNHN's original performance properly.
I was moved because I was in the front row and could clearly see Neru-chan crouching down to tie her shoelaces at the beginning.
The gentle lyrics and the interlude sampling Dvořák's "New World" really soak in...
It feels like my hometown is welcoming me, or like returning to childhood...
After the live show ended, I headed toward the final battle for me, waiting in the basement 1st floor, which had become today's base since starting with NANIMONO.
ukka - 2nd Part (B1F)
When I went to the venue, free admission had already started. I put the admission ticket in my wallet as a memento.
I entered to the Overture, "We are...".
1st song "TOUTOI" , the song and performance are too cool, it feels so good.
The final battle between me and ukka unfolding in the basement of Tower Records Shibuya, Yuki Rina's opening vocals were super cool.
2nd song "Tokyo Landed Girl" , it's truly a city pop song that hits the spot. I reaffirmed that I go to these events because I love and want to listen to songs like this. Ruri-chan is cute.
3rd song is "Cosmic Float" !
Personally, it felt like it had been a little while.
I was remembering the 2023 spring tour.
At the end of a day-long battle, although I wasn't exactly covered in wounds, I jumped by bending my knees to spare my legs so I could make it through until the night bus (that's not called jumping with a clatter).
During the MC, when asked who they became friends with among the Teichiku groups this time, Yuki Rina-chan mentioned Fudanjuku's Tendo Taiyo-kun again. She said they became friends while sitting next to each other for the poster photo shoot.
Actually, Tendo Taiyo-kun was watching from the stage left side, and when I appealed to him, including trying to guide him from the audience, he noticed me.
Whether it's Yuzuki Kanta-kun during CYNHN or Tendo Taiyo-kun, the Fudanjuku members watching in the 2nd part were so enthusiastic and amazing...
Even though there was time until the Fudanjuku 2nd part, my favorability for them went up too much. (Regret is pushing in hard that I should have gone to the 1st part this time, and also when they came to the prefecture I live in, even though it was a bit far...)
The last song is "Trip To The TKY" . I steeled myself for the "Trip To The INK (Countryside)" by night bus that was waiting for me.

After the show, I caught a train one earlier than planned from Shibuya Station to Shinjuku Station and Shinjuku Busta.
I thought that since I arrived with a little time to spare, I might have been able to catch Fudanjuku if I had pushed it, but I got a bit lost between Shinjuku Station and Shinjuku Busta, so this was for the best...
On the way to Hiroshima by night bus, I got off at three out of the four service areas. It was raining and cold outside.
The area around Hiroshima Station had changed completely in the two years I'd been away.
The local train lines felt nostalgic.
I arrived safely. The journey is over... The favorite cheesecake I bought at Seijo Ishii in Shinjuku Station as a souvenir for my family was crushed.

In closing
The last time I attended a release event at Tower Records Shibuya was forShiho Nanba's best album "Mushoku Tomei" in-store liveI was still suffering from hay fever, just like back then. By the time I'm writing this, it was announced that Shiho Nanba would be graduating as the DJ of NHK Radio's Music Line. How time flies...
Unlike the Shiho Nanba in-store live, which was held in a corner of the CD sales area at Tower Records Shibuya, this event made luxurious use of the rooftop, the basement, and a partitioned-off third of the 5th floor.
It was only possible because Tower Records Shibuya has changed so much.
I had been dreaming of a Teichiku event since ukka made their major debut, so this was a long-held wish.
My true hope was to see Yufu Terashima, ukka, and CYNHN all at the same event.
Perhaps because the tour in Kobe overlapped, or because she wasn't categorized as a Teichiku idol "group," Yuffy (Yufu Terashima) did not participate. Teichiku, please hold a Great Teichiku Idol Party 2026 with Yuffy included next time...
CYNHN also had Toru Aoyagi feeling unwell (and I was exhausted from the travel due to the barometric pressure...), and since it seemed like they would have resonated with Fudanjuku fans just like Shiki Ayase did, it was a shame, so I have a selfish hope that they will be discovered next time.
I wanted to see Banmon and Fudanjuku in addition to NANIMONO, but I couldn't manage to get around to them, so I want to properly strategize next time... I was terrible at navigating the 5th-floor event space and the 9th-floor rooftop this time... I really want a rematch, so please, Teichiku, hold a Teichiku Idol Party 2026...!
Even so, it was a joy to see both CYNHN and ukka at the same event, and I was right at the front for CYNHN with the speakers right in front of me, and it was pure bliss to hear songs like Largo, Nominee, TOUTOI, and Tokyo Landed Girl. It was truly the best...
Postscript (May 6, 2025)
Oh, Yuffy had left the Teichiku label... I guess that explains why she didn't participate and why she won't in the future...
