制作メモ④　SUNO AIと描く90’sサウンド

相変わらず、生成AIを活用した作曲活動に夢中になっています。
90年代に一世を風靡したユーロビートの世界観を現代の感覚で再構築しました。駆け抜けるシンセサウンドとエネルギッシュなビートが特徴のユーロビートは、ただの懐古趣味ではなく、今の時代にも響く強いメッセージを持っています。
この記事は備忘録的な内容にはなりますが、ひとまず歌詞がひと通りまとまりましたので、記録として残しておこうと思います。

全体のテーマや雰囲気については、以下のようなイメージを持って制作しています。

• 社会進出における心の葛藤と迷いを、ユーロビート特有のエネルギッシュなビート感で表現したい。

• 自分らしさを保ちながら強く前向きに生きる決意と、煌びやかなシンセサウンドと疾走感あふれる楽曲展開。

• 挫折や不安を抱えつつも希望を捨てない姿勢、内面の揺れ動きを熱量とポジティブさで表現。

• ダンスミュージックの明るさと力強さを両立し、日本語と英語の融合による国境を超えた共感と、日本語の繊細さと英語コーラスのグローバルな広がりを意識したい。

作曲に向けて

専門的な知識があるわけではありませんが、少しずつ作曲について学んでいます。今回も「SUNO AI に自分でコード進行を指定する」形で制作に取り組んでみます。
まだ試行錯誤の段階ですが、自分なりの表現に少しずつ近づけていけたらと思っています。楽曲のイメージは、以下のような方向性を想定しています。

• コード進行はユーロビートでもよく使われる王道パターン（I–V–vi–IVなど）を基本に考える。

• 歌詞の「迷い → 内面の強さ → 希望に向けて走る」という物語構造に合致する様なコード進行（Eb — Bb — Cm — Ab）を意識。

• ユーロビートらしい特性として一定のハーモニック・リズム（1小節ごとの安定したコード）と、心地よいテンポにより「踊る様なエネルギー」に変換する。

次回は

作曲イメージをもとに、実際に SUNO AI にプロンプトを使って指示を出しながら制作を進めていきます。まだ試行錯誤中ではありますが、AIとのやりとりを通じて、イメージに近いサウンドに少しずつ仕上がっていく過程も楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。

I approached the songwriting with the following ideas in mind:

• Convey the determination to live strongly and positively while staying true to oneself, paired with dazzling synths and a fast-paced arrangement.

• Portray resilience—holding on to hope despite setbacks and fears—channeling emotional turbulence into heat and positivity.

• Combine the brightness and power of dance music, blending Japanese and English for a cross-border connection, with the delicacy of Japanese lyrics and the global reach of English choruses.

About the Composition

I’m not formally trained in music theory, but I’ve been gradually learning the basics. For this track, I tried specifying my own chord progressions in SUNO AI as part of the creative process.

Here’s the direction I envisioned:

• Base the progression on classic Eurobeat staples like I–V–vi–IV.

• Match the lyrical story arc—doubt → inner strength → running toward hope—with a progression such as Eb — Bb — Cm — Ab.

• Maintain Eurobeat’s signature steady harmonic rhythm (one chord per measure) and a comfortable tempo to turn emotion into “danceable energy.”

For the next stage, I’ll feed these composition ideas directly into SUNO AI prompts to guide the track’s development. I’m still in the trial-and-error phase, but I hope you’ll enjoy following the process as the sound gradually takes shape—somewhere between my vision and the AI’s interpretation.
