I made a Cory Wong correlation chart (Fuji Rock 2023) *There is also a 2024 Japan tour version

Hello, this is Dr. Funkshitteru from KINZTO.

At Fuji Rock Festival 2023, Cory Wong will finally be coming to Japan. Moreover, this is his first time in Japan. For his first visit, he is headlining the Field of Heaven stage.

To commemorate this, and because I want more people to know about and enjoy Cory... we have created a personal correlation chart for Cory Wong.

Here it is.

(*Since Fuji Rock '23 has taken place and it was discovered that the actual members of the Cory Wong band differed from those announced on the official Fuji Rock website, we released a "Complete Version" on August 7, 2023, with the correct members.)

This chart focuses on the band Cory is performing with at Fuji Rock, and lists artists he has collaborated with in the past and present, as well as artists who have influenced him, in a correlation chart format.

The information in this chart was gathered over several years while I was writing a book about Vulfpeck, by reading various videos and interviews.

The production team is responsible for the content. Also, this time, I contacted the main artist, Cory himself, and received permission to publish it.

If you look at this, you are sure to make discoveries like, "What!? He collaborated with this person?" or "He was influenced by this person!"

I hope you will take a look at every corner of it.

a. is someone who previously created a wonderful correlation chart for LOVE SUPREME Jazz Festival. I reached out to them because I really wanted to do that for Vulfpeck, which is my specialty, and that is how this Cory correlation chart came to be.

This Cory correlation chart was created entirely DIY, and we did not receive any requests from anyone. In other words, it is fan art, and it was driven solely by the desire for everyone to know more about Cory and enjoy Fuji Rock, and the feeling that a correlation chart like this would surely be interesting!

After that, Cory Wong returned to Japan in 2024.
