I find myself writing more about my daily life and family. Perhaps it is because I have been picking up themes from my daily record, "Crushing Tinnitus," which I often write about right before composing these.

Doing nothing, just lying down and closing my eyes; a mini-hospitalization can be done at home too.

* On days when the children are at day service and I think I can finally get things done alone at home, I usually can't do much at all. In fact, I get even less done than usual. At such times, I just accept it and make it a rest day. The concept of a "mini-hospitalization" is to spend time slowly at home, just as if I were in the hospital.

Too exhausted to head to a second supermarket, I choose the pricier loaf of bread on this sweltering day.

* I know the bread is cheaper at the other store. But it is too hot, and I don't have the energy to go to a second one. I make excuses like, "I've already bought frozen food, so it will melt while I'm parking my bike," and buy the more expensive bread.

The view that spreads at the end of my unread books: a sky filled with unread volumes.

* A byproduct of creating a "Tsundoku" (unread books) image for the Minna no Photo Gallery.

My daughter explains to me, who cannot write about romance, the wonders of love stories.

* My daughter rarely asks for a book, but she said, "This was introduced on TikTok and looks interesting, so please buy it!" It was "Even If All This Love Disappears Tonight - 140-Character Love Stories -" by Yozora Hoshino. It seemed easy to read, and she told me about the wonders of heart-fluttering romance novels. By the way, I cannot write about romance at all.

On a TV with a broken receiver, I connect my smartphone to watch the blue robot.

* Since I usually only use the TV as a monitor to connect my tablet or smartphone to watch streaming videos, I didn't notice it was malfunctioning. The DVD player wouldn't turn on, and the TV screen wouldn't display images either. Both are about 13 years old. I watched "Doraemon" because it had become available on Hulu.

My daughter sings "Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan," my son sings it too, and I sing it as well.

* While we were playing UNO as a family, my daughter suddenly started singing the "Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan" song. She said she heard it on TikTok. I know the title, but I don't know the content. There was an opening video on YouTube, so we watched it as a family. We talked about things like, "How did they manage to broadcast this?" And then, the whole family sang Dokuro-chan at the top of our lungs.

Searching for his mother who left for work early in the morning, my son walks between the bed and the balcony.

* My wife's first day back at work. She had already left the house before the children woke up. My son was walking between the bedroom and the balcony, looking for her.

Let's give a name to the rampaging kidney stone: "Excaliborg," the magical bat.

* I still have two stones left in my left kidney. This happened on a day when I was struck by severe pain, perhaps because one of them started acting up. "Excaliborg" is a magical bat that can do anything, appearing in "Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan." It has nails in it. The AI mistook it for a bat (the animal) instead of a baseball bat, but I left it as is because it has a strong impact.

Stealing enough bread rolls for the whole class, the student runs while being chased in the summer.

* A scene from the masterpiece episode of "Delicious School Lunch Season 2," Episode 9, "The Bread Roll and My Friend."

Knowing this planet will soon end, the children play until they burn out.

*As summer vacation nears its end, the children's desire to play is at its peak. I am the one who will burn out first. It was a summer that gave birth to countless games.
