In today's class, we will look at the ecology of creatures called writers.

The person who visited our school the other day was Mr. Drumura, who writes novels while playing the drums.

His appearance while writing during a performance was truly wonderful. His novel was also written with a very rhythmic flow.

Writers each have their own characteristics, but they are basically defined as "people who keep writing no matter the situation." Let's look at examples of people who keep writing in various situations.

This is a person who continues to write in the middle of the road. Most traffic jams are caused by writers.

Some writers continue to write while working other jobs. The experience gained in those professions is put to use, giving their work depth.

This baseball player is famous for writing while running the bases after hitting a home run.

This is a writer being scolded by their boss for writing a novel during work. They keep writing without a care. That is the kind of creature a writer is.

When writers are absorbed in their writing, they tend to lose sight of their surroundings. To put it extremely, for a writer, everything other than writing is trivial.

This is a writer who continues to write while being caught in a dam discharge. He is unaware of the discharge. Thanks to his giant typewriter, his life was not in danger.

This is a writer who continued to write in a bank that was being robbed by a gang. Even though the robbers told him, "Hands up and get on the floor!", he was so absorbed in his writing that he didn't notice the robbers. It is said that the robbers were so dumbfounded that they left him alone.

There are also examples of utilizing the writer's habit of continuing to write.
This writer was planning to hold a new book launch and autograph session at the same time, but due to trouble at the printing house, the books were not printed. Therefore, they decided to have the writer write the novel on the spot and distribute it to the fans right there.

Sometimes, the ecology of such creatures called writers becomes a problem.

This doctor-cum-writer became a social issue when it was discovered that they were writing during surgery. Let's make sure to only write during work when the situation is mild enough to just get scolded.

But basically, writers are harmless creatures who are fine as long as they can keep writing.

For example, this writer is continuing to write while covered in cellophane tape because they made a mistake in how to cut it. If it were you, I think you would cut the tape first. However, choosing to keep writing without cutting it is what a writer does.

A writer writing on the back of a whale has become a complete autumn tradition.

As times have changed, so has what writers write. Yet, fundamentally, they remain 'creatures that keep writing'.

Read what they have written, and try laughing, crying, feeling happy, feeling sad, or being moved by emotions you cannot quite name. Such reactions from readers become the nourishment for writers.

This series was originally conceived as a spin-off from generating a series of handsome literary figures, so perhaps because of that lingering influence, the generated writers skewed toward being male.

I wrote this just as the ideas came to me, turning concept image generation into a picture-book-style read.
