Description

この作品の邦題は「平和」であり、そのタイトル通り平和への願いを込めて制作されました。すべての人々は平等であり、すべての存在に価値があります。生まれた国や言葉、肌の色、貧富の差に関係なく、すべての人々は尊く、かけがえのない命を持っています。偉大な学者も罪人も、善人も悪人も、皆等しく神から祝福され生まれて来たのです。この世界には、無駄に失われる命など一つもないのです。

The Japanese title of this artwork is "Peace," and, as the title suggests, it was created with a wish for peace. All human beings are equal, and every life has intrinsic value. Regardless of birthplace, language, skin color, or wealth, all lives are sacred, precious, and irreplaceable. Whether one is a great scholar or a sinner, good or bad, all people are born equally blessed by God. Not a single life in this world has been lost in vain.

Summary

このアート作品から感じ取れるデザインコンセプトは「均衡」と「調和」です。女性の周りにある複数の手が互いの存在感を引き立てており、どれか一つが欠けていたり、配置のバランスが取れていなければ、デザインは大きく崩れてしまいます。女性もその周囲の複数の手も、すべてが元々一つであったかのように構成されており、この世界に平和をもたらす高次元的存在の顕現への祈りが込められています。人類の愛と調和、そして平和を願って制作されたこの作品は、そのタイトル通りの平等なデザインヒエラルキーを形成しています。

The design concepts conveyed by this collage are "equilibrium" and "harmony." Each of the hands surrounding the woman amplifies the presence of the others, and the composition falls apart if any hand is missing or imbalanced. Both the woman and the hands around her are conceived as a unified design, symbolizing the manifestation of a higher being who brings peace to the world. Inspired by the hope for love, harmony, and peace among humankind, this work embodies a design hierarchy based on equality, as indicated by its title.

Research Abstract

研究の種類は視覚表現で、人の心を豊かにすることを目的としています。豊かさとは富のみならず、心の平安なども含みます。この作品では、鑑賞者に心の平安をもたらすことを第一の目的としており、その方法は他の作品とは異なり、9割以上がインスピレーションに基づくため、言語化が極めて困難です（インスピレーションは外的環境から齎される類で、心理学の世界では超自我、スピリチュアルな世界では精霊などを根源とします）。ビジネス、社会、思想、文化など、人間存在が繁栄する基幹システムを包括的に表現しています。また、日本の仏教の教えが思想の源であり、この世界に平和をもたらす神の顕現を目的として制作されています。

This research focuses on visual expressions that enrich people's minds, encompassing not only material wealth but also peace of mind. The primary objective of this collage is to bring peace to viewers, achieved primarily through inspiration—more than 90% of the process—making it exceptionally difficult to articulate verbally. This inspiration originates externally, identified psychologically as the "superego" or spiritually as entities or spirits. This collage comprehensively represents foundational systems enabling human prosperity, including business, society, ideologies, and culture. Inspired by Japanese Buddhist teachings, it was created to manifest a divine presence that brings peace to the world.

The Creative / Research Challenge

この作品では多くの素材がコラージュされており、一体感を持たせるため、それぞれの素材を独自の調光、調色で一つ一つ丹念に加工しています。腕の角度や配置に少しでもミスがあれば、作品の全体が崩れてしまうため、何度も試行錯誤を繰り返しながら調整しました。この作品を鑑賞する方の心が平安に満たされるよう、魂を込めて制作しました。

Since this collage incorporates many different source materials, I meticulously edited each individually by adjusting brightness and color to achieve coherence. A slight error in positioning or angle of the arms could disrupt the entire composition, necessitating extensive trial and error. My heartfelt intent was to instill peace of mind in every viewer of this collage.

日本語のタイトルは「平和」で、その名の通り平和への願いを込めて制作されています。女性とそれを取り囲む複数の手は、世界に平和をもたらす高次元の存在の顕現を意味する統合的なデザインとして構想されています。人類の愛と調和、そして平和への願いからインスピレーションを得たこの作品は、タイトルが示すように、平等を基本としたデザインヒエラルキーを形にしています。

The Japanese title is "Peace," reflecting a genuine wish for peace. The woman and the surrounding hands are composed as an integrated design symbolizing the appearance of a higher being who brings peace. Inspired by humanity's yearning for love, harmony, and peace, this collage visually manifests a design hierarchy rooted in equality, as its title suggests.

Operation / Flow / Interaction

この作品では、女性の周囲に 5本の手がコラージュされています。それぞれが異なる大きさ、明るさ、色を持つ素材であることから、一体感を持たせるために 5本の手それぞれに独自の加工を施しています。さらに金色のメイクアップを施し、アクセサリーも一つ一つ入念に加工しました。

Five hands are collaged around a woman, each differing in size, brightness, and color. To achieve coherence, each hand underwent individual editing. Gold makeup and accessories were meticulously refined to enhance visual unity.

Production Realization Technology (and Materials)

まず Adobe Lightroom で全ての素材を別々に加工し、Adobe Photoshop でコラージュしました。次に光彩表現の付与と補正を行い、それを 1 枚の画像に統合。その後、再び Adobe Photoshop で最初からレタッチしながら、メイクアップと加工を施しました。実際の画像の寸法は A1 より少し大きい程度ですが、200枚以上のレイヤーを重ねているため、総ファイルサイズは 15 GB に及びました。殆どの作業はブラシで行われ、調光や調色などの補正も非常に繊細に実施されています。今回の作品では、元々が一人の人物に見えるように、各素材を 1 ドット単位で配置し、入念に加工しています。

I first individually edited each source material in Adobe Lightroom, then assembled the collage in Adobe Photoshop. Glow effects were added and adjusted, integrating all components into one image. The collage underwent another round of detailed retouching and digital makeup in Adobe Photoshop. Although slightly larger than A1 size, the file reached 15 GB, comprising over 200 layers. Brush tools were primarily used, carefully adjusting brightness and color. Each material was meticulously placed at pixel-level accuracy, creating the appearance of a unified figure.
