この作品に描かれた白い羽根は、平和の象徴であると同時に、汚れのない純粋な心を表しています。ここに現れる天使は、昨今の世界の出来事に深い悲しみを抱いているようにも、人類への深い慈愛に満ちているようにも見えます。一見すると、これから人類がどのような選択をしていくのかを静かに試されているかのようです。しかしながら、いかなる道を人類が選ぼうとも、この天使は変わらぬ慈しみの心で、私たちを包み込み続けることでしょう。
The white feathers in this artwork symbolize both peace and the purity of an untainted heart. The angel depicted here seems at once grieved by recent global events and yet filled with profound compassion for humanity. At first glance, the scene may feel like a quiet test of the choices humankind will make in the future. And yet, regardless of what path humanity takes, this angel will continue to embrace us with a boundless heart of compassion.
