Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Atami Report✍
Atami Trip 2025.4.15-17
My daughter, my husband, and I stayed at Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Atami, so I'm leaving a report here for my own records~✍
We also went to celebrate our daughter's 1000th day since birth🚅💕
🩵💙Day 1💙🩵
💙Arrived at Atami Station by train (12:00 arrival)
🩵Lunch: Tokuzomaru

👆🏻Husband: Red and white two-color sea bream bowl set (2,700 yen)
👆🏻Me: Special raw scallop bowl set topped with sea urchin and salmon roe (3,200 yen)
Since the first beer was 350 yen, my husband definitely ordered alcohol🍺
I followed suit and had a lemon sour🍋
Each bowl was about 3,000 yen!
It's not cheap, but rice and dashi for ochazuke are all-you-can-refill🙆♀️
You can share the rice with your child, which is great for those with kids👍 My daughter ate the scallop for the first time without any fuss️🫧
Also, maybe the timing was good, but we were seated immediately and the service was speedy too🙆♀️

💙From Atami Station to RISONARE Atami (14:00)
There is a shuttle bus that picks you up at Atami Station, so we took that to RISONARE Atami!
No reservation needed from the station to the hotel!
There was a hotel staff member holding a RISONARE Atami welcome board, and when we spoke to them, they guided us politely🙆♀️
The 14:00 bus gets a lot of people heading for the 15:00 check-in, so it might be better to be at the shuttle bus pickup point about 10 minutes early👍

Arrived in about 5 minutes by shuttle bus from the station!
RISONARE Atami is on a hill, so the bus climbs up steep slopes!
🩵RISONARE Atami Check-in (14:15)
Although check-in is possible before 15:00,
the reception counter is crowded...💦
The service for each person is very polite, so it takes a little time if you have to wait😂
My daughter wanted to play, so I had my husband take her to the 9th-floor area to play first.
At the reception, they recommend booking the return bus.
🙆♀️If you change your room cleaning to a simple one, you get a service ticket🎫 (can be exchanged for ice cream at the shop or drinks at the restaurant)
🙆♀️If you write down your anniversary as the purpose of your trip, something good might happen later...
↓↓↓You can go down from the front desk (10th floor) to the 9th floor by stairs.

The view is amazing!!!
There are lots of picture books placed around that you can pick up freely. There's also bouldering that might be a bit difficult for little kids... There's also a counter on the 9th floor where you can book various activities👌

💙Entering the room (14:30)
Time to enter the room!!!
Depending on the room status, it might be possible to enter before 15:00!
Our room was on the 6th floor! A cute room with blue as the main color💙
Since it's a renovated hotel, you can feel its history here and there, but if you prioritize staying in a spacious room with kids, it's not bad at all👌
We didn't ask for it in advance, but a bed guard was installed. A step stool and a toilet seat for children were also already prepared in the washroom🙆♀️
And since there were blocks, my daughter jumped right in and started playing.

🩵To the Forest Aerial Base Kusu Kusu (15:00)
To the Forest Aerial Base Kusu Kusu on the 2nd floor!
The path connecting to the hotel building was a small path with a green arch, which was lovely🕊

We had our picture taken in front of the treehouse.
There are staff members stationed there, so it's a nice point that they are happy to take pictures for you if you ask🤍
At this time, the treehouse was reserved, so we couldn't climb up... As for the activities, it seemed difficult for a 2-and-a-half-year-old, so we took a walk in the forest. It seems you can walk around freely here, so we just walked around as we pleased.
My daughter found a simple bouldering wall on the way and looked very satisfied👧🏻🤍

It was colder than I thought that day, so we went indoors after about 30 minutes...
Here, besides forest activities, there was also ice cream making, but we skipped it because it was cold🥶

💙To the Kids Room (15:30)
Next, to the kids' room on the 9th floor.
You can overlook the Atami sea while playing in the ball pool!
For some reason, my daughter was lining up the balls. She was having a lot of fun~
There was also a small slide and bouldering, and she went to slide occasionally. The bouldering looked difficult lol
There were about 2 other groups, but everyone was playing separately, so it didn't feel cramped at all✌️

🩵Studio Buffet Mogumogu (17:20)
After a break in the room, we went to the dinner buffet🍽
I booked dinner separately online in advance🤍
The seat had a view of the sea. They had already prepared a child's chair for us🙆♀️
Things my daughter ate
⭐️Children's curry
⭐️Udon
⭐️French fries
⭐️Karaage (fried chicken)
⭐️Steamed vegetables (broccoli)
⭐️Soft serve ice cream (vanilla)

My daughter was overjoyed because she could serve the soft serve herself and add toppings🍦 There were 3 types in total: vanilla, matcha, and a mix. My favorite was the vanilla-matcha mix🍵🌿
There was baby food for smaller children, as well as porridge and carrot puree, so it didn't seem necessary to bring your own even during the weaning period🙆♀️
The seafood was substantial, and the adults were very satisfied too🤍
⭐️Sea bream carpaccio
⭐️Salad you can customize yourself
⭐️Fried horse mackerel
⭐️Steak
The service ticket was very useful🫰
It can also be used for drinks at the buffet!
Beer and lemon sour became free🍋
Furthermore, since the purpose of this trip was also to celebrate my daughter's 1000th day, when I wrote that as the purpose of the trip at check-in, they brought out a surprise plate for us🎇
The hospitality is amazing🩵
They also took a Cheki (Instax) photo for us✌️

💙Atami Onsen Yurayura (19:30)
We were very satisfied with the meal, and next we went to the bath♨️
There were 2 indoor baths and a semi-open-air bath!
The temperature was higher in the indoor bath that wasn't connected to the semi-open-air bath, and the semi-open-air bath side was a bit lukewarm.
I preferred the lukewarm one because you can relax in it, so that was my favorite.
Having said that, the slightly dim lighting to create a stylish atmosphere seemed a bit scary to my daughter🥹
She kept saying, "It's scary~ It's scary~😭," so I basically held her the whole time lol
But she seemed to like the hot water, and even while being held, she was barely enjoying it, saying "Splish splash, huh🥹"
As for amenities, there was body soap and a bath chair for children.
The shampoo and conditioner felt like typical hot spring amenities, so I think it's better to bring your own.
The amenities in the changing room were also minimal, so I was glad I brought my own lotion, moisturizing cream, etc.
The hair dryer was a ReFa dryer!💆🏻♀️💨
🩵Night time
Did the laundry for what we wore today
There were paid washing machines and dryers on the 2nd floor, so I used them.
The models were quite old🤷♀️ No detergent needed type!
The washing machine is 300 yen per use, and the dryer is 100 yen for 15 minutes.
You can only use 100-yen coins, so you need about five 100-yen coins. I only had 400 yen worth, so I only dried for 15 minutes, but it wasn't dry at all, so I dried it in the room lol
💙🩵Day 2💙🩵
🩵Breakfast: Studio Buffet Mogumogu (8:00)
Since it's a breakfast set plan, we went to the breakfast buffet☀️
The bread is super delicious🥐💛 I took too much lol
The potatoes were a bit different from the ones served at night, and they were the fluffy type!
At night, they were the crispy type🍟
The sea bream ramen was also exquisite~

💙Pool (10:00)
To the pool🏊♂️ No reservation required, and swimsuit rental (500 yen) is also possible🙆♀️
I brought my own swimsuit. Pool diapers were also available for purchase for 300 yen
There was a shallow pool and a deep pool, and a slide was installed in the shallow pool.
The temperature was warmer in the shallow one, and the deep one felt a bit chilly. Either way, it was just the right temperature to enter in this season.
My daughter was the first to happily slide down the slide, but she sank into the water and cried loudly😭 It might be scary for children who aren't used to water...
She was scared of the pool for a while, but towards the end, she looked like she was having fun being held by her dad🩵
Even though it's a good temperature, you get cold if you stay in it for a long time, so we went straight to the adjacent hot spring♨️
I'm grateful that you can move around in your swimsuit!
↓↓↓My daughter sinking in the pool after this😭

↓↓↓Finally in a good mood😆

🩵To Atami Station (12:00)
GO to Atami Station by shuttle bus! (Make effective use of the shuttle bus without using taxis as much as possible🫡) Since the reservation is mandatory from the hotel to Atami Station, I booked it in advance🙆♀️
I was thinking of taking the 13:20 bus, but we were ready, so I asked if we could move it up, and it was OK✌️
I'm really grateful that they are happy to take pictures when you ask them to🎇

💙To the sea (12:30)
We went from Atami Station to the sea~🌊🐬🏝
Since we were moving with a stroller, we didn't use the stairs but went to the sea via the slope.
It was windy, but it felt good🩵
My daughter enjoyed playing with bubbles she bought at a convenience store🤍

🩵Lunch: Gomi Hachin Lasca Atami Store (14:30)
For lunch, we went back to Atami Station for ramen🍜
I wanted to eat soba, but for some reason, many shops were closed on Wednesday, so we couldn't get into any shops at all😭
It's my fault for not researching in advance, but wandering around the station, my daughter was in a bad mood saying "I'm hungry😭"... To fulfill her wish of wanting to eat noodles, we went into a Chinese restaurant👲
When I ordered a lemon sour, it seems it's a big size at the regular price, and I was surprised that it came in a huge mug🍋

💙From Atami Station to the hotel (16:30)
Bought seafood bowls and snacks at Atami Station for dinner~
I thought the 15:30 bus wouldn't make it, so I thought 16:00 would be fine, but surprisingly there was no 16:00 bus and the next one was 16:30🥹
I was wondering whether to take a taxi, but since it's about 30 minutes, we waited until 16:30 and went to the hotel🥺
It's good that you can go back and forth for free, but it's important to check the shuttle bus times properly, isn't it🥹
Also... when eating lunch at Atami Station, you should check if the shops are actually open🙆♀️ (Especially soba shops... well, checking if a shop is open is obvious, right🥲)
My daughter was exhausted and fell asleep, so I ate the fruit sandwich I bought at Atami Station as a treat for myself🥭

🩵1000th Day Celebration
Daughter's 1000th day commemorative photo📸
I had her make a zero herself, and this makes 1000!

💙🩵Day 3💙🩵
🩵Breakfast: Studio Buffet Mogumogu (8:00)
The breakfast menu doesn't seem to have changed much.
But there was the advantage of being able to carefully select what I wanted to eat.
My daughter was still eating potatoes, broccoli, and ramen lol
I also got the matcha French toast that I couldn't eat yesterday🍵🌿
You can take out coffee before leaving the buffet, so I got that🙆♀️

💙Craft Experience (9:00)
Craft experience on the 9th floor🌊. I chose a photo frame.
Besides photo frames, it seems you can also make aquariums, keychains, bracelets, etc.
It was the type where you are given craft materials and Posca markers and can create freely!
I used a lot of my favorite purple and blue to paint💜💙

↓↓↓Here is the finished product✨ You stick the bird on with glue. I'll display photos from the Atami trip🤍

🩵Forest Aerial Base Kusu Kusu (10:00)
Today the weather is good and it's a perfect day for the outdoors☀️
The treehouse was a free pass, so
we climbed to the top.
The inside of the treehouse has a mysterious feeling of floating, and it's super scary😵
No one could go inside... Forest bathing in front of the treehouse🕊🌱🌿🍃

💙Sorano Beach (11:30)
To the cafe on the 11th floor☕
We had our picture taken at the entrance, but unfortunately, it was backlit at this time of day...🥹 But the objects were super cute.
There's no one-drink rule, so it's a special spot you can go to just to enjoy it!
You can also go outside, and the view was amazing🗻
The sand is fine, and even if it sticks to your feet, you can just brush it off!
My daughter didn't like the sand at first, but after watching other kids play, she tried it and had a lot of fun⏳

💙Summary💙 Highly recommended for those with children. 2 nights and 3 days was just right! The service is polite, and they respect the children. Above all, there are many people with children, so even if your child gets a little fussy, it feels like "we're all in the same boat," so it's very easy to spend time there!!!
There are only two choices for where to eat: the buffet or the Japanese dining restaurant Hanabi, so I would be happy if there were a few more options🤥
The shop is also just for souvenirs, and there's nothing that could be a meal in the room, so if it's not at the hotel, you have to move to the station or go wherever you like.
Come to think of it, if you spend the whole day at the hotel, you might have trouble finding a place for lunch...
Activities and services you can enjoy inside the hotel are also just right🙆♀️ Once they turn 4, it seems like they'll be able to enjoy the aerial walk of the forest activities~
I don't know much about the spots in Atami itself (I can only think of the sea, Atami Castle, and Atami Pudding...), so if you think about spending time mainly at the hotel, it was a very good hotel stay🫶
That's just your opinion, right? RISONARE Atami report finished!!!
