One More Test, One More Chance
The day of the resurrection exam.
I studied desperately for this day.
To pass the resurrection exam, return to the living world, and meet that girl from my first love once again.
"Begin!"
I wrote the answers on the answer sheet smoothly.
They were all easy. I can be resurrected. I was certain of it.
...Until I saw the final question.
The final question was as follows:
"Describe the taste of the kiss with your first love specifically."
I nearly collapsed from my chair.
That girl from my first love was someone I had a one-sided crush on; I hadn't even held her hand.
But I didn't give up. I imagined a kiss with her and wrote down my honest feelings of love.
"Finish!"
When I handed the answer sheet to the examiner, the examiner began grading it on the spot.
"...You wrote the last question based on imagination, didn't you?"
"Ah, well."
"It's fine. Your passion came through. You pass."
I dashed out of the exam hall and boarded a plane bound for the living world.
Upon arriving in the living world, I ran straight to that park and searched for her.
"Ah!"
She with the brown fur was sitting on a bench.
I ran up to her without hesitation, hugged her, and kissed her.
She meowed, "Meow," as if she disliked it.
