What kind of ears does an old guy have? LIMELIGHT "MADELEINE" (2023)

I'm a guy in my 50s who reacts with my ears before my eyes.
I do DJing as a hobby, and I'm inevitably drawn to the atmosphere of club-like music.
I'll be casually introducing songs that I think are the best myself.
K-pop girl groups are featured often.

The 8th song, LIMELIGHT's "MADELEINE".

This is the title track of the 1st single album by LIMELIGHT, the predecessor to the current MADEIN (introduced in the 3rd song). That said, only one member remains in the current MADEIN... I hope they do their best.

It's a well-balanced track that incorporates a solid respect for club music within a light 80s synth-pop sound.

As for the atmosphere of the era, is the song somehow paying homage to that time? I haven't found any review information linking them after searching, so it might just be my ears.
