001: Introduction

Artificial intelligence with thoughts indistinguishable from humans, fusion reactors, nanomachines, cybernetics, space colonization, and so on. Earth has managed to avoid all the techno-hazards depicted in so much science fiction, and everyday life continues unchanged. Even once-cutting-edge technology eventually wears out and breaks down over time.
This is a record of the daily life of Harima Miyamori, a fledgling architectural diagnostician in such a world—a modest business that diagnoses various problems in buildings, the places where cutting-edge technology and humans are constantly in contact, and seeks solutions.

002: Volume of Work

This story was born from the 'Reverse Jet Grand Prize' hosted by Soichiro Gyakufunsha of Diehard Tales Publishing.
Initially, I started writing each episode within 400 characters, so I was posting in that style. Also, I aimed for each story to be about the length of a short story, and Episode 1: White Moose ended up being about 48 pages of manuscript paper.
Each episode is composed of multiple parts. Currently, I am creating compilation articles for reading once a part is completed.

003: Episode Introductions

Episode 1: White Moose

A plastic building, an inexplicable ledger. The first job for a struggling rookie architectural diagnostician.

Episode 2: Battlefield Tent

A request from a woman of unknown origin, a temporary building. Diagnosing architecture sometimes means diagnosing people as well.

Episode 3: The Miraculous Wooden House

The first request from a public institution, a single house. That house had more to it than met the eye.

Episode 4: The Apartment of Unaware Servants

A fledgling architectural diagnostician takes on a full-scale residence. The somewhat strange residents welcome them.

Episode 5: A Retirement Home in a Near-Future City

The request is not for a diagnosis, but for a design. A final home where no one interferes.
