My Favorite Albums Part 718 [Crust Core/Swedish Hardcore Edition]

This is the 3rd album released in 2019 by the Swedish crust gods "WARCOLLAPSE".
Formed in the early 1990s by members of "CRUDE SS" and "DOM DAR", "WARCOLLAPSE" has maintained a nearly constant lineup despite occasional breaks, consistently sticking to their jet-black, super-cool crust core sound. From the very beginning, they openly cited influences not only from "DISCHARGE", "DOOM", "ANTISECT", "AMEBIX", "BOMBANFALL", and Japan's "S.D.S", but also from old-school death metal bands like "DISMEMBER", "UNLEASHED", and "ENTOMBED". Because of this, their sound stood out with a darkness that set them apart from other DIS-CORE groups and Swedish crust bands of the time, and that unique characteristic remains completely unchanged in this work.
Their dignified and solitary sound, which feels almost classic and stripped of all excess fat while still carrying the scent of their origins, concludes with a track over 10 minutes long—a super-cool, super-heavy song that you could call their signature "slow doom crust tune"—creating an overwhelming sense of tragedy and despair.
This jet-black, super-cool crust is truly irresistible and absolutely the best.
However, it is a shame that they are not very well known in Japan.
If anyone has listened to their music because of this post, or has heard them before, I would be very encouraged and happy if you could leave your thoughts in the comments section, so please do.
If the words hardcore in general, metal in general, intense sound, extreme, maniac, super-heavy, noisy, or indie ring a bell, please take a look at my previous posts as well. (Though there are some that don't fit those categories.)
I have categorized them to some extent in my "My Albums" magazine posted on note, so please take a look at that as well if you are interested.
You might just encounter a band or music you didn't know before.
