From job hunting worries to work planning. An internship where I met mentors I can respect.
Hello! This is the DFA Robotics note editorial department.
This time, we interviewed Noe Oishi, also known as "Noe-chan," who is currently active as an intern!
Noe Oishi
・Affiliation: West Japan Branch Internship
・Hobbies: Reading, Korean dramas
・University: Faculty of Humanities, French major (4th-year student)

What was your motivation for starting this internship?

At first, honestly, it was just a vague feeling of "wanting to do something for my job search." The trigger was talking to a DFA employee at a part-time job I had before starting this internship. After hearing about sales and seeing them work so happily, I became interested in DFA. When I told them myself that I wanted to do sales, they invited me to intern, and I decided to join.
What is the real DFA you felt after joining?
I had the impression that many people here love their work and enjoy it! The West Japan team I belong to is full of unique and kind people. I felt a warm atmosphere where they accept me as a colleague, not only supporting my work but also listening to my job hunting worries.
What are your main internship duties and what have you learned?
My main duties as an intern are diverse.
・Exhibition and event support
・Data creation and analysis using Salesforce
・Planning and creation of internal and external materials and videos
・Research tasks related to sales planning and marketing
Through these tasks, I feel my growth lies in acquiring practical skills that one would usually learn as a new graduate, such as "how to proceed with work" like prioritizing tasks and coordinating with stakeholders, and "how to communicate" so that it reaches the other party. Improving my computer skills, such as spreadsheets, Canva, and typing, is also one of my growth points.
What work left an impression on you, and what made you happy?
The work that left the biggest impression on me was the first exhibition I participated in. I heard customers' worries about "labor shortages" and witnessed firsthand that robots have the potential to improve those issues. It was the moment I felt the joy of DFA's services being useful to someone.
Also, being praised by employees for an operation manual I created was something that led to my confidence and made me happy. They told me, "It's wonderful that you not only set up the robot without any problems but also included extra insights," and I realized the joy of being able to utilize my own ingenuity.
What are your future goals?
I am still considering my specific career path, but because I have watched the members of DFA, I want to become a "salesperson who can enjoy work while producing solid results."
To those considering applying for an internship
I felt that the DFA internship expands the breadth of your experience by "thinking for yourself and actively expressing your opinions." It is okay if there are many things you don't understand at first. If you try to think for yourself even when you don't know, and consult with those around you when it's difficult, they will support you warmly.
I think the DFA internship is perfect for those who want to be able to have this kind of attitude and mindset.
Noe-san, who is active as an intern, answered in an interview about her frank feelings on trying out the internship.
Currently, DFA Robotics is looking for colleagues to build the company together! 🔥
If you are even a little interested, let's talk casually first!
