"Yorimichi," who works as a commercial author and picture book author, will be serving as a guest speaker at a special seminar hosted by the employment transition support service manaby on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
This seminar will be held online and is an exclusive event for the "crew" (users) who utilize manaby's support services. ■ Seminar Content and Intent: Transforming Personal Experience into "Words" and "Pictures"
manaby provides employment support while valuing "individuality." In this talk, I plan to discuss the following themes while also touching upon my own experiences with "developmental disabilities."
How to face the "difficulties in living" I have felt throughout my journey so far
How to find a "career path" that suits you
The "fulfillment" I find in my current work and the process of trial and error that led me there
Traits often perceived as "flaws" or "difficulties in living" can become a one-of-a-kind story that only that person can tell if viewed from a different perspective. Although it will be through a screen, I hope that the materials and words woven from my own real-life experiences will serve as a small catalyst for the crew members I meet that day to rediscover their own potential.

Although this seminar will be held in a closed environment, I hope to convey the "power of expression" to as many people as possible through these kinds of activities.
