🚶Puzzle-Solving Experience Report🏃 I experienced 'The Last 7 Days of the Hero and Me'!
Hello! This is Maro-chan🌱
The rainy season seems to be ending soon, and it has suddenly become hot🌞
Make sure to stay hydrated so you don't get sick💦
Today, I'm sharing my experience review of 'The Last 7 Days of the Hero and Me'✨
Overview
What is 'The Last 7 Days of the Hero and Me'?
“Help me...”
Guided by a fading voice, you turned on the game console.
The moment you timidly pressed the start button... you were sucked into the game!
What spreads out before your eyes is a devastated world. There are no smiles on people's faces, and the sky is stagnant.
A young girl spoke to you.
“Oh hero of the journey, please, help us.
This world has been eroded by a dragon, and even the heroes of this country, our last hope, are unable to fight properly.
You are the only one we can rely on.
Once you defeat the dragon, we promise you will be able to return to your original world.
I know this is a selfish request. But please, save this country...”
It seems you are the only one who can protect this world.
Will you be able to solve the mysteries with the companions you met in the world of the book and defeat the dragon?
The adventure is about to begin.

Challenge Results
I managed to pull off a miraculous stroke of luck and "succeeded"✨
However, honestly, it wasn't a satisfying escape, so I'm left with some frustration...!
Impressions
This production was a revival of a show created over 10 years ago, so it felt like a classic puzzle-solving experience, which was great.
As for me, Maro-chan, I have a subjective standard that revival performances are a sure bet, and I was reminded again that they are likely revived because they are genuinely interesting, so you can't go wrong with them.
Regarding this performance, a distinctive feature, as noted on the official site, is that it has strong RPG elements.
It's like an RPG game where you solve puzzles while progressing through the story, and the fun part is that you solve puzzles while talking to various characters during the performance.
It had a strong impression of a so-called Dragon Quest-like worldview, but even I, Maro-chan, who has never played Dragon Quest, was able to keep up just fine!
I thought that people who like game worlds would really be able to immerse themselves in this setting.
The time felt quite tight, and I think you won't make it unless you solve things quickly, but since the people I happened to be teamed up with were veterans, I felt we had plenty of time before the final puzzle stage.
The puzzles themselves don't feel extremely difficult, but speed is required, so it's tough if you get stuck.
Since it's an RPG, there are things to do other than just solving puzzles, like going to talk to people or collecting materials, so I felt that cooperation was important.
The final big puzzle was genuinely difficult, and even if I had had normal time, I wouldn't have figured it out (´;ω;`)
But another feature of this performance is that there's still a chance to escape even if you don't solve the final puzzle! Somehow that chance happened, and we were able to escape, but honestly, it felt like we escaped purely because we were very lucky!
I'm happy about that in a way, but since I came to solve puzzles, I had the feeling that I wanted to escape properly by solving the puzzles...
But I was honestly happy that we were able to escape💛
Recommendation Level
Well then, I'll be doing the Maro-chan judgment again today!
Difficulty ★★★☆☆
Honestly, other than the final big puzzle, I felt like things progressed relatively smoothly!
It might be because our team members were quite experienced, though...
The person I went with was doing an escape game for the first time, but they said they were able to solve quite a bit, so I think even beginners can contribute.
There are quite a lot of small questions, so I think you can be useful enough just by solving the ones you can!
Storyline ★★★★★
With such strong RPG elements, the world-building was amazing!
Various roles appear, and the acting skills of the staff were high, which was fun...! I think you'll enjoy it even more if you get into character too!
It's a little embarrassing, though (lol).
Completeness ★★★☆☆
As expected of a revival performance, I think the level of completeness was high!
However, I felt that our roles didn't really feel that important as roles,
and while the luck-based elements are fun in their own way, I personally would have preferred a pure puzzle-solving challenge,
so there were a few things I thought about... Overall, I'd give it 3 stars!
I thought this was a puzzle game that required quite a bit of information sharing!
Since we had three groups in one team this time, and also because I felt there were quite a few matter-of-fact people, it was a bit of a shame that we couldn't deepen our bond that much, but I guess that's just luck too (lol).
We did manage to escape, but it felt a bit lonely because there wasn't much excitement.
It reminded me once again that if you want to enjoy it without any reservations, it's best to gather a majority of people you know!
