We held our February circle meeting
This is Otomo from the
Circle for moms of children with developmental differences
We held our February circle meeting
I had something I wanted to ask the moms who
always prioritize their families and
tend to put themselves last

The point is to do it 【for yourself】
・Who should I leave the kids with?
・My husband might get mad if I buy this...
・I might not be able to get tickets...
No talking about realistic things like that!
Fantasies are
so you can leave the kids with someone without worry,
no one will get mad at you,
and you can get the tickets.
It's okay to think whatever you want
because it's a fantasy
The moms in the circle
were struggling at first, saying
Hmm... what should I do...
I've never thought about it...
I want to go to the music festivals I used to go to before marriage and childbirth,
or see my favorite artist live!
I want to spend a day without thinking about anything
and stay at an inn that serves delicious food!
I want to go to the MLB season opener at Tokyo Dome
and see Shohei Ohtani in person!
They managed to come up with ideas.
Most of them said they wanted to spend money
on having a meaningful time.
Since the brain cannot distinguish between "reality" and "fantasy",
it is said that just by imagining it,
fantasizing about it, and grinning,
your brain releases happiness hormones.
You can fantasize anytime,
so if you feel like your heart is a little tired,
please find a place where you won't bother anyone
and try grinning while you fantasize.
What I thought was great was that
someone requested that an experienced mom
attend a festival with them since they've never been to one.
Doesn't it seem like that could happen in about five years?
We've only talked about our kids in the circle,
so it was interesting to hear about what the moms like
and learn a new side of them.
But I never expected
that the conversation about "If I had 100,000 yen..."
would turn into a discussion about
Kotaro Satomi, Ken Matsudaira, and Hiroki Matsukata,
the names of such big-name stars. Lol
Thanks to everyone, it was a fun time again.
I look forward to seeing you next time.
