I turned my startup journey into an AI manga (Ep. 2: 2003–2015)

Here is Episode 2 of my playful experiment: turning my engineering career into a manga using ChatGPT!
This episode covers the 12 years of CONTACT Inc., from its founding in 2003 to its acquisition by a U.S. corporation in 2015.
While the AI might have taken a few creative liberties with the details (lol), the roller-coaster reality of those days is perfectly captured. Here is a quick look behind the panels:
Early Startup Days
Capital was tight. We spent countless all-nighters in a small rented factory, drawing plans and assembling parts. We pushed forward with a single dream: building the best cleaning equipment in the world.
Innovation & Expansion Across Japan
To meet the strict demands of 300mm fabs, we developed high-performance FOUP/FOSB cleaning systems. We supplied these to advanced fabs in Oita, Nagasaki, and Yokkaichi, solving real customer issues on the front lines.
Global Growth
Driven by the trust of our domestic clients, we took our small company to the global stage—exhibiting and partnering in Taiwan, Korea, and the U.S.
2015: Passing the Baton
The company was acquired by a U.S. corporation. It was a proud moment of taking 12 years of challenges, innovation, and teamwork, and passing that technology to the next stage of growth.
