A Relationship of Trust That Begins with a Single Coin
Antique coins may seem like something you simply "buy,"
but in reality, I believe that our true relationship with our customers begins only after the purchase.
First-time customers usually start by asking a few questions over the phone.
"Can I trust this shop?" "What kind of coins do you handle?"—
Those who are satisfied with our conversation then go on to book an appointment to visit the shop.
It is not uncommon for the first visit to feel like a casual preliminary look.
Some have even dropped by in relaxed attire, such as jeans and flip-flops.
However—
the second visit is different.
The moment we meet, I can clearly see a change in the way they look at things.
I can tell they have been thinking seriously about the coins and have made up their minds.
Many arrive neatly dressed and well-groomed,
and seeing that makes me realize that my explanations truly reached them,
which encourages me and makes me glad to be doing this work.
And even after the purchase, the relationship continues.
"I want you to explain these coins properly to my wife as well."
"I intend to pass these on to my son in the future, and I want him to hear from you directly so he doesn't handle them incorrectly."
—Many customers return with their wives or other family members.
In one case, a family of seven spanning three generations visited us,
saying they wanted to collect antique coins with their inheritance.
Precisely because these are items passed down through generations,
I believe the relationship of trust with our customers becomes even deeper and more enduring.
The sentiments imbued in a single coin remain cherished within a family.
I am proud to be able to help make that possible.
