Hello, this is Yoshikazu Hamamura Schneider.

I have a 9-year-old son at home,

and he asked me, "Dad, I want to go to the Expo!"

Honestly, Koshien or the Zero Carbon Baseball Park is more my style, though (laughs).

My family is Jodo Shinshu Buddhist, but the religion I follow is the "Hanshin Tigers Faith," which celebrates its 90th anniversary this year. Hollywood actor Ken Watanabe is also a believer.

It's so deeply ingrained in my soul that I feel physically ill on days when the Hanshin Tigers lose.

My first game was in 1985, when my grandfather took me to the All-Star Game.

That year, Hanshin became the best in Japan... It was truly a baptism ⚾

Now, onto the main topic—

Because of my son's request, I decided to get "opening tickets" for the Osaka-Kansai Expo.

Wow, this is incredible.

My son said, 'Make it the 13th.'

Thinking, "Wait, isn't today opening day?"

I checked the ticket reservation site and...

The afternoon of opening day was wide open!!! (As of April 7th)

Isn't that crazy? It's so empty that it's actually a bit startling 💦

So, anyway—

I'll be heading out for an on-site investigation on opening day, Saturday the 13th!

I couldn't get a pavilion reservation this time,

so I'll be walking around to check out the overall atmosphere.

I'll buy some merch and check out the flying car exhibit too ✈️✨
