Growth is happy, but lonely. Lonely, but happy.

To Myaz,

Good morning!

Yesterday, it was rare for Ya-kun and me to go shopping together, just the two of us. We only went to the supermarket and the dollar store, but since Dad or Mii-chan is usually there, it was truly a rare occasion.

While we were walking, Ya-kun held my hand.

Mom was so happy.

But, at that moment, I suddenly thought.

How much longer will we be able to walk holding hands like this?

When you were little, it was natural to carry you or hold your hand.

But children grow up little by little, and before you know it, they naturally outgrow those things.

That is what growing up is, isn't it?

It's a happy thing, but a little lonely.

I felt such complicated emotions.

But, the fact that you have grown up so healthily is truly a happy thing.

From now on, I want to continue watching over your growth, Myaz, with both happiness and a little bit of loneliness in my heart.
