[Surpassed 5,000 followers!] I am writing about the 'career trauma' that I, as a recruitment agent, continue to carry
Hello.
I am Takahashi, a career-up recruitment agent who walks alongside you.
Born in the first year of the Heisei era. My vision is to live a long, active life enjoying both work and private life in this 100-year life era, eventually sparking inspiration in many people, and creating a 'village' with many companions. Currently, I am working as a
recruitment agentwhile working in parallel.Recently, on note, based on my own actual experience in career support, I have been
sharing information based on my actual experience and knowledgefor
people in their 20s and 30s
focusing on the three pillars of'career change know-how,' 'work styles,' and 'career advancement.'
Here is my latest self-introduction article.
My paid note 'Career-Up Job Change Know-How'
is now on sale!!
In January, it was apopular content that reached #1 in the weekly rankings!
Currently, as part of a
'Job Change Support Campaign,'
we are running a50% off discount campaign for 2,980 yen
until6:00 PM on Saturday, February 14th.
Yesterday, I finally
reached 5,000 followers!
It took only 9 days to reach this milestone after hitting 4,500 followers,
and I am truly grateful.

This is a short piece.
Although I write every day as a recruitment agent, acting like I know everything about
careers and work styles,
I was originally a bundle of complexes with a strong sense of inferiority.I still carry a lot of that with me.This time, without sugarcoating it, I will talk about the
'trauma' that I, as a recruitment agent, continue to carry.
As a parallel worker, I have been living hand-to-mouth for the past few years.

In conclusion,
in my case, while I can now envision a bigger vision than before,
realistically, I have always been living hand-to-mouth.
Basically, there is also the aspect that I am working
desperately every day just to make a living.
Back in my 20s,
I had a girlfriend,
and there was a possibility we might have gotten married,
but at the time, I was struggling just to manage living on my own.
We ended up breaking up for financial reasons,
and that still remains as a 'trauma' for me today.
'Love and personality alone are not enough.'
'Economic power is necessary.'
And after turning 30,
earning money became one of the reasons I aspired to
start a business,and
the way I spent my time outside of being a company employee and the intensity of it changed 180 degrees.
The reason I switched from a full-time employee to a temporary employee was because
I wanted to focus on my side business and preparations for starting a company.
From there, things were unstable for a while,
I had trouble with attendance,
couldn't build a relationship with my seniors where I could get good advice at work,
and I stumbled in catching up, leading to my contract ending early...
Perhaps due to the influence of the world of karate I devoted myself to in my childhood,
or because I majored in Japanese history at university,
I am a 'researcher' type who digs deep into single tasks,
and in the first place,I was never a person with quick communication skills,
a blind type who cannot see things from multiple angles or from a bird's-eye view,
and I am not someone who can come up with witty, quick-witted remarks.
I have occasionally written about being laid off, bankruptcies, the COVID-19 pandemic,
and the poor physical condition I am still dealing with,
but I haven't really touched upon
my own immaturity, weaknesses, and clumsiness.
To change the traits mentioned above
after the fact requires considerable effort,
and if that effort is misdirected, it has no effect at all.
I have continued to think that way.
'I am basically inferior to others.'
'I am a person who has to work three times harder than others.'
Because I think that way, I often end up spinning my wheels.
And money management, which is important as a working adult.
In my late 20s, I was stable as a company employee,
and there were times when I managed to get by,
but when people are in extreme situations, their true nature comes out.
In the process of aiming to start a business, I have also had many experiences of
failing to recover from the things I challenged.
How can I create a positive impact?
How can I attract attendees to events?
How can I lead to successful job placements?
I started to constantly turn these thoughts over in my mind.
As a lesson learned,
most failures are
'failures planned and invited by oneself'I now painfully realize that this is the case.
I have been writing about quite impressive things so far, but
I myself am also under pressure,
spending my days working on 'investment and recovery'.
In the end, everything comes down to
'self-management' and 'self-transformation'.
It is precisely because I was poor at this that
I have invited poor physical condition and financial hardship
through my own choices,
that is what I think now.
Ultimately, the biggest obstacle in your career is 'yourself'.

The reason why I
confessed about this'trauma'this time is because
most, no, all of that trauma is
analyzed as my own 'procrastination', 'avoidance','slacking off', and 'lack of effort'.
Business professionals who advance their careers
always have the ability to face challenges and improve quantitatively, and they are properly
stepping up.Also, they are good at asking for help from those around them. That is why they do not burn out themselves,
and they connect to the results required of them
and get promoted.
Of course, they also have
ways of building relationshipsto make it easier to get help,
they are good at casual conversation and small talk, and where no one is watching,
they are always making efforts such as gathering information, studying, and simulating.
What I want to say is,
in the end,the biggest obstacle in your career is 'yourself'.
You are choosing your current career yourself.
It is undoubtedly yourself who is causing your current reality.
Falling into poor physical condition is also
entirely your own responsibility.
Blaming others or the situation is completely misguided.
As long as you blame others or your situation and environment,
you will never achieve great success.
And as long as you turn a blind eye to challenges,
even if things go well temporarily,
it will not last long.
I am learning this with pain
while aiming for entrepreneurship and
working on parallel careers.
In parallel work,
more than
90% of what I have worked on has been a failure.Hosting events ended in failure and resulted in a deficit,
and I have lost count of how many times I have spent my own money to try things, thinking of it as tuition.
And, while there are points where I have improved,
honestly, I think there are still things where I am avoiding the root of the failure.
If I had mastered it,
I would have already started a business and become independent.
If my career had only been as a company employee,
I might never have noticed my own 'sloppy nature'.
I am truly glad about that in my life.
Even so, what I have been able to shape is 'note' and 'agent work'.

Since the content was negative,
let's at least end on a positive note.
The self I mentioned earlier,
who had a habit of running away, turning a blind eye to things I was bad at,
and tended to procrastinate,
is now truly, proudly, and continuously working on
this
'note'.And, regardingthe main theme of this account,
'career',
I want to polish myself as a professional and contribute to creating opportunities for job seekers to take on the challenge of changing jobs.
I am also feeling growth as a
'recruitment agent'who is challenging that feeling without any lies or falsehoods.
It has been about the last 5 years,
but I feel that only 'note' and 'recruitment agent' work have achieved results somewhat above average.
And it is not just me who supports those results.
It is thanks to the mentors, colleagues, and friends who expected things from someone like me,
sometimes looked up to me, relied on me, and lent me their strength.
If I had been running on my own,
'note' and 'recruitment agent' work
would have already failed.
However, to be frank,
everything else is full of things that I must train and improve.
To realize entrepreneurship andimprove my own economic situation,
it depends on the recovery of my condition,
so I think it will still take many years.
I don't know how it looked to those who have been reading this note, but
this time, I have approached my trauma candidly.
I have approached my trauma candidly this time.
Right now, I am also
taking stock of my heart
as part of fundamentally breaking through the current situation,
and I have written this at the timing of reaching 5,000 followers.
Sharing visible achievements and changes in stages
through this note
leads to true 'branding' so
I intend to continue posting
with responsibility and freedom as a set.
The content may not be very well organized, but
I would be happy if those who read it
feel something from it.
