A good mentor will not teach you from their side.

“Second-rate people will teach you from their side.”
“First-rate people will not teach you unless you ask them.”
“But if you ask, they will gladly teach you.”

Have the courage to go and ask to be taught by a first-rate person who seems indifferent to teaching!!

Choosing who to learn from.
I believe this is the most important point for improving quickly at anything.

And what is important here is that
the truly excellent mentors you should learn from
will never teach you on their own without you asking them.

Why is that?

Anyone who has truly aimed for the top,
in other words, first-rate people, should know.

That unless the person being taught has
a "desire to learn from this person"
and a sense of "proactivity" welling up from within,
no matter how much correct knowledge you teach them, they will not grow.
That is why


the better a mentor is, no matter how valuable the information they have, they will not go out of their way to teach someone who does not try to ask for it themselves.

if you show them your passion,
those people will surprisingly accept you gladly.

And above all, they will teach you thoroughly.

Perhaps they are not
"uninterested in teaching."

I think they just believe that "there is no point in teaching from their side."
