Japanese version is as below.

Thank you for coming to my note.
I'm daisy.
This is my English introduction.

Who is daisy?

I chose a random flower name (nickname) for me. The flower language of daisy is hope and peace. Simple reason to choose a name.

  • Living in Japan with my American husband(usually speaking in Japanese)

  • My hobbies and what I like: Play erhu (a chinese violin), reading books, music, and movies

  • Play Pokémon Go: Started playing it with my husband ever since it was released.

My purpose of writing in English and studying languages

I daily use English since my husband is American. We usually speak in Japanese, but it's necessary for me to use English with his family.
And also, I use it at work.

Using English in my articles is a challenge for me. My writing may not be perfect, but I believe it's essential to express how I truly feel and think.

Language is a living thing. It's always changing, and I find it fun to learn new words. Reading articles in English also helps me discover new ways of thinking and broadens my viewpoints and understanding.

I've decided to play the erhu for the rest of my life, regardless of how good I am. I'm so grateful to have found an instrument I love this much. My passion for it has made me want to learn more about Chinese culture and language. I study Chinese whenever I feel like to do, though it's hard to keep up with it the way I do with English.

My purpose on note

I've been continuing writing on 'note' for about 2 years and decided to take a new start to write more articles in English.

My main theme is to share delight in my life using both Japanese and English.

Why delight?

It's because I'm the one who has been struggling to find delight in life. I tend to be so strict to myself and couldn't find a way out from my negative feelings.

Find delight in your life.

This will be the keyword for my articles. So, I myself can come back to my note and won't forget to find delight. It can be small or large. It's sometimes difficult to accept yourself. But there is always hope and happiness waiting for you.

My favorite saying

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift. That's why it's called a present.

Alice Morse Earle

Everyone has a gift. It's sometimes difficult to achieve what you want. However, no one knows what will happen in the future. I hope the world around you is full of delight and happiness. Your step to your future may be just one step. Little by little, you are moving forward. So let's make the most of today.

Thank you so much for coming to my note. Hoping you enjoy reading my articles.
