Thank you very much.

Good evening, everyone.
Today, I am posting something other than a novel or an essay. Come to think of it, this is my first attempt at such a thing, and I am typing on my keyboard with a slightly special feeling.

Now, what kind of year has this been for all of you?
To me, time has always been a mysterious thing. When you are living your days desperately, a year passes by in the blink of an eye. And yet, when you look back, you find that unforgettable events and warmth are firmly etched there.

I started posting on note three years ago. Back then, I did not know that writing could liberate my heart so much. I think this year was a year in which I faced writing novels more deeply than ever. As I spun short stories one by one, I learned the power of words and the joy of touching their depths. And the warm comments from so many of you—each and every one of those words became a precious light and a signpost for me.

However, this year was also the most painful year of my life.
This October, I lost my younger sister. She was only 25 years old. It is no exaggeration to say that the event was a shock that made me lose my sense of reality. Even now, I cannot accept that days without her are reality, and I find myself unable to bear the weight of this loss.

The pain of losing someone close to you. I did not know it could be this deep, this cold, and this relentless. How can people overcome such sorrow? Will time solve it? Or are we just learning how to live with this wound?

Even so, my life will continue from here on. I have many regrets, but I cannot stand still forever. I believe that living out the rest of my life is the best gift I can give her.

I hesitated to write this story here. But I wanted someone to know about this sadness, even if only a little. By putting it into words like this, perhaps it will reach someone, and this pain might change its shape, allowing me to find a small measure of salvation. I wrote this while praying that it would be gently received by someone, somewhere far away.

I cannot end this post with only dark stories.
Next year, I want to weave richer words. I want to become able to write stories that can light a small flame in the hearts of those who read them. Using both sadness and joy as fuel for my stories.

To everyone who read my writing this year, thank you so much.
I look forward to your continued support next year.
