Movie Review: "Spider-Man" (from Filmarks)

Although it is a 21-year-old film, it is a work that makes me wonder if there has ever been a superhero movie with this level of perfection since.

First, it rapidly depicts dramas such as the fact that superhuman powers do not necessarily lead to happiness, the terror of the coincidences that lead to tragedy when one overlooks the unraveling of things right in front of them, and the heartlessness of human relationships falling apart.
Amidst all that, Peter continues to save people, keeps his uncle's words in his heart, gains the support of the people, and heads into the final battle.
The ending, where he wins the heart of the girl he has long been pining for, but at the same time cannot simply confess his love due to the sorrow of losing a friend—this really struck a chord with me as the reality of a hero.

I didn't expect it to be such a rich film, and including the fact that I was able to fully enjoy Spider-Man's unique action, I think it is a masterpiece.
I intend to follow the series from here, but because the first film was so amazing, I am conversely feeling anxious; that is the kind of movie it was.
