Is an Oven Range Really Necessary?

Once you buy a home appliance, you tend to use it for about 10 years, don't you?
That is precisely why, every time I consider replacing one, I struggle with the question of"Do I really need this feature?"Recently, the oven range became a topic of conversation in our home.
When asked, "Should we buy another oven range next time?" and I thought about it, I realized a surprising fact.
What I usually use is
almost exclusively the "reheat" function.I use a toaster for gratin.I use a toaster for pizza, too.
I even use a toaster to reheat fried foods.
I can't even remember the last time I used the oven function.
In the past, I bought it thinking, "If I have an oven, I can make anything."However, lifestyle habits change little by little.
My children have grown up, and I bake less often.
Rather than elaborate oven-baked dishes, it has become more important to be able to eat daily meals easily and deliciously.
Could there be an appliance that better suits my current life?
That is when I started to become interested in
an "air fryer."While looking into it, I became interested in the COSORI air fryer. At first, I had the image of it being an "appliance for making fried food," but I learned that it actually shines in everyday meals.
For example, croquettes or karaage (fried chicken) bought at the supermarket.
If you reheat them in a microwave, the coating gets soggy, but with an air fryer, the outside is crispy and the inside is juicy.
It makes sense that there are many reviews saying, "Store-bought deli food tastes like it was just fried at the shop."
Frozen fries and frozen karaage also turn out crispy without adding oil, making them perfect for a side dish on busy days.
Furthermore, you can cook grilled fish, salmon, grilled chicken thighs, and roasted vegetables with the push of a button.
What I thought was particularly good is that it uses almost no oil.
Once you reach your 50s, you start to worry about health checkup results, cholesterol, and weight, don't you?
I thought this was an appliance that caters to the desire to "eat as healthily as possible."
And,
because it is something you use every day, the fact that it is easy to clean is also a major appeal. The basket can be removed and washed, so the reduced burden of cleanup is a happy point.Furthermore, the COSORI is simple to operate.
Since you just set the temperature and time on the digital display, I felt that even someone like me who is not good with machines could use it.
With a capacity in the 4-5L class, you can cook for the whole family at once, not just for a couple.
Since it can also reheat toast and pizza, perhaps a "microwave + air fryer" combination is what suits our home best.
I have started to think that way.
Here is the appliance I am interested in
Of course, if you enjoy baking bread or sweets, I think an oven range is perfect for you.
However, if you use it like I do—"just for reheating" and "using a toaster for baking"—you might not be inconvenienced even without an oven function.
For home appliances, it is not about being "good because it is high-spec," but rather "whether it fits your lifestyle" that is most important.
Now that I have started thinking about replacing my appliances, I intend to re-evaluate what I truly need.
In your home, do you use the oven function of your oven range?
If you have a recommended air fryer, please let me know.
