The desire to 'do something' is the most dangerous thing
Hello, I'm Lolo🌱
When a plant isn't looking well,
you think, "I have to do something for it," don't you?
But that kindness can,
actually end up being a burden.
I think this is actually the same for people.
For example, when you're feeling under the weather,
rather than having people around you
"You should eat this"
or "You should do this," adding all sorts of things,
isn't it more appreciated to just have a quiet environment to rest in?Plants are exactly the same.
The less energy they have, the more
people try to "add" things.
Giving fertilizer.
Giving water.
Changing its location.
But from the plant's perspective, that is,
👉
a state where the space to recover is being taken away.A weak plant is like someone who can't run being handed several energy drinks.
What is needed
is not to make it try harder,
👉
but to return it to a state where it can recover. So, what's important is simple:• Is the water appropriate?
• Is there enough light?
• Is there good airflow?
• Is the temperature right?
Just "adjusting the environment" is enough.
Hold back that urge to do something for just a little bit,and then, try leaving it to them.
Plants originally
have the power to bounce back on their own.
Don't touch them too much.Don't change things too much.
Don't overdo it.
That isn't neglect,
👉
it's care through trusting and waiting. It's okay if you don't see results immediately.Even if it's slow, they will surely come back.
🌱
The weaker a plant is,
the greatest kindness is not to overdo it.
