BORN TO BE WILD: A rock band after 40 years! A 40-year age gap!

This is my 21st year here in Toyama. Having worked with international students, I have finally met a "superb drummer (an international student)." I thought it would be a waste to let this talent smolder, so I asked him, "Do you want to play with me?" and his eyes lit up! He said, "I want to do it!! This song!!" referring to the song "BORN TO BE WILD." It is a song that became famous in the 60s through the movie "Easy Rider." We don't even have a bassist yet, but I formed a band with him and another international student, making us a trio. Today, we performed at the school festival and won!! He was overjoyed. As someone who played hard rock until 40 years ago, I feel like my rock soul has been ignited! A 60-year-old geezer and a 20-year-old youth—a 40-year age gap! I wonder if there is any other band like this? I'm looking forward to what's next!
