Gachiakuta Episode 2 "Jink" / Anime Review

Finally into the main plot of Gachiakuta

The story of Rudo, who finally fell from the heavens to the abyss, has begun.
Since it's an anime, it's speedy and time passes quickly, so I liked the pacing which didn't feel as long as the manga.
And Engine appeared, voiced by Konishi-san.
Konishi-san, who has a strong image from New Young TV, gave a quite gritty performance.
He's usually fooling around, so I thought that image might come first, but he was cool.
In Gachiakuta, power dwells in various objects, and they use them as weapons to fight.
Rudo uses gloves, Engine uses an umbrella; each character uses unique weapons.
I like Engine; I once tried to write a short story themed around umbrellas, but the idea was scrapped, so he's a character I feel a sense of kinship with.

Hanjyu
Hanjyu appear at first, but they are minor enemies that don't show up much in the manga.
Honestly, I have the impression they don't appear for about 10 volumes or so.
Did they appear a little bit near the latest volume?
And the Hanjyu appeared using CG effects.
I suppose it's impossible to animate something with that much detail unless it's CG.
It reminded me of Douglas Bullet from the former Roger Pirates in the One Piece movie, Stampede.
When animating something cluttered, it doesn't move very fast, perhaps because the range of motion is limited.
The animation quality was good!

The action is wonderful
It was great that the first episode showed both Engine's action and Rudo's action!
Both Rudo and Engine were clearly enveloped in an aura.
Rudo's gloves are a special item and an important object in the story, so I felt they were highlighted quite a bit.
By the way, I've gotten quite used to Rudo's voice actor by episode 2.

I'd be happy if Gachiakuta appeared in things like Magazine character games in the future.

OP & ED

The OP has finally arrived!

It's quite unique and a very Gachiakuta-like OP.
Not many enemy characters appear in the OP yet.
In terms of popularity, I hope it reaches the level of Kekkaishi.

ED
I like the ending better.
I like the beautiful, flowing melody that modulates from the rap.
The ED visuals aren't cluttered more than necessary.
It's simple.
It's quite to my liking.
