Where do gentle words come from?
When I am casually browsing your posts on note, I sometimes encounter gentle words that make my tears overflow the moment I see them.
It feels as if my body trembles and tears well up before the words even reach my heart.
It is amazing how gentle words can reach someone.
In that moment, I feel as if my "own color" is being repainted, ever so slightly, from the outline of my body into a different color... that is the feeling I get.
And after being repainted, I feel like I love myself even more.
When I feel things like that, I deeply think, "People are made of words."
I am made of my own words. And I evolve by layering the words spoken by those around me onto that self.
All the elementary particles that make up the world are also waves at the same time.
That is part of the mechanism of the world that is becoming increasingly clear in quantum physics.
If the countless cells that make up our bodies, and the countless elementary particles that make up those cells, are waves—then it follows that we ourselves, as an aggregate of them, are undoubtedly waves as well.
You might not be conscious of it very often, but when my heart and body tremble at someone's words, I clearly feel that "I am a wave." This is because words are undoubtedly vibrations that make me tremble.
That is why I change the moment I receive them. The vibration of the words that reach me overlaps with my waves, and I change my shape just a little.
Since I started note, I have realized once again why I enjoy reading your articles so much.
I am probably receiving what you write as waves.
Of course, not just me, but everyone receives them as waves, but since the interpretation and way of feeling are different for each person, I think the way it feels to receive them is as varied as the people themselves.
I truly receive them as waves, not as a metaphor, but as a sensation.
Beyond just the vibration of the sounds of the words, and perhaps even including the movement of the person's heart when those words were spoken, the articles opened on my smartphone screen carry that to my heart like ripples.
I find the days spent layering those waves onto my own to be very precious now.
Reading books, listening to music, appreciating paintings, watching sports, too.
Perhaps that is a way of receiving waves.
That is why we are influenced by them and moved by them. Because stories, music, paintings, and sports make our hearts and bodies tremble.
Now then, your posts that repaint me with such diverse vibrations. Please let me introduce a few from among the many words that have impressed me!
The first one is a post by Kotobuki @ Nursing Care Essayist / Former Comedian.
I introduced myself for the first time
many times.
Each time I did,
I liked myself more.
These are words spun by Kotobuki, who works in nursing care, through interactions with people with dementia.
They were submitted to the [Japan National Council of Social Welfare 14th Nursing Care Essay and Photo Contest, Catchphrase Category] and won the [Grand Prize].
Actually, I myself have a relative with dementia who has been bedridden for a long time. While deeply savoring how gently these words capture the scenery of daily life... I allowed myself to be repainted by those waves.
The room of Kotobuki-san is full of gentle and refreshing words. Please visit from the banner below. ↓↓↓
The second one is from an article by Yasushi Edase @ Teachers are amazing!.
It is precisely because it is a time like this,
those with wisdom, let's share our wisdom.
Those with strength, let's share our strength.
Those who can sweat, let's sweat.
Those with money, let's share our money.
Those who say they have nothing, let's share our energy.
These are words that singer Chiharu Matsuyama reportedly spoke on the radio two days after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
They were introduced in an article posted by Edase-san shortly after the major earthquake at the beginning of the year, and I think many people, not just me, were encouraged by them.
Even when something difficult happens. Or in ordinary daily life.
That's right, let's share our energy! Even I can do that! (After all, energy is a "wave" too!)
I am grateful to Edase-san for preserving these words from the radio, which would otherwise just flow away, and posting them on note. Not just the quoted part, but the words written by Edase-san themselves are also very powerful! ↓↓↓
Finally, from a post by PTA Kaicho-san.
One night, I had a dream.
I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the dark night sky, my life was projected.
In every scene, two sets of footprints were left in the sand.
One was my footprint, and the other was the Lord's footprint.
When the final scene of my life was projected, I fixed my eyes on the footprints in the sand.
There was only one set of footprints there.
It was the most painful and sad time of my life.
Because this always troubled my heart, I asked the Lord about that distress.
"Lord. When I decided to follow You, You promised to walk with me and talk with me on every path. Yet, during the most painful time of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I do not understand why You abandoned me when I needed You most."
The Lord whispered,
"My precious child. I love you. I will never abandon you. Especially not in times of suffering and trial. When there was only one set of footprints, I was carrying you."
This is an introduction to the poem "Footprints" by Margaret Fishback Powers.
My thoughts on such words would only get in the way, but I felt that the vibration of the words conveying the wonder of "being together" became a great wave that washed my heart.
PTA Kaicho-san's posts are always full of happy power. They often post about the casual daily life of their family, but they have a mysterious charm that makes you think, (Someone who has lived like this must be a good person!). If you want to be healed, please check them out. ↓↓↓
Thank you for reading until the end!
I look forward to continuing to read your posts, which are full of kindness and individuality.
