PEZ, it's PEZ!

My child loves Super Mario, and ever since they saw one of these PEZ dispensers at the supermarket, they kept saying they wanted it so badly! They wanted to collect them all! I wanted to buy them for my child if I could, but that supermarket only had one type of character.

By the way, the first one we found was Yoshi.

Then, after visiting several supermarkets, the next one we found was Mario.

Yes! We were able to find these two quite often after that. However, Luigi and Toad were just not for sale at all—it was almost laughable how hard they were to find.

Since they were so hard to find, I thought about buying them on Mercari, but when I looked, Luigi was priced at about five times the retail price! I was shocked.

By the way, Toad wasn't even for sale there. I don't know if it's because he's popular, but I decided the only way was to steadily look for shops that might sell PEZ wherever I went, and I've been searching for about two months now.

And then, one day after about two months of searching, it finally happened. I went shopping at a supermarket I don't usually visit, and I finally discovered Luigi!

My child especially likes Luigi, so they were absolutely thrilled.

I was so happy to see how much joy it brought them that I felt motivated to reach my next goal: to do my best to find the final one, Toad.

And finally, the other day, I was able to come across Toad!

I had gone to a certain town for an errand, and at a supermarket there, Toad was hidden among the other PEZ characters!

Unlike the other characters, Toad had an overwhelming presence, and somehow he looked bigger and even seemed to shine more than the others.

I was so happy that I rushed home and gave it to my child.

They were so happy, shouting 'Yay! Yay!' over and over, so it was truly worth the two months of searching.

By the way, after we got home and lined them up, I realized that Toad really was bigger than the other characters, haha.
