Searching for “My Style” in AI Illustrations | Tiger Girl | Generative AI | AI Illustration | Daily Posts | Daily Updates | Daily Note
It's Aoi, and I'm freezing because the heater isn't working well at all.
(Winter hasn't even really started yet, but I'm wrapped in a blanket. I'll have a professional look at it tomorrow. ...First the fridge, now the air conditioner?)
Lately, I've really been feeling how difficult it is to produce unique illustrations with AI.
Don't you ever think, "Oh, this person is using the same model as me"? 😂
The facial atmosphere and touch end up looking somewhat similar, it's like a strange feeling of gaining more relatives lol
But even so, there are people whose work you can instantly recognize, like "Oh! That's that person's art!"
The softness of the lines, the color combinations, the temperature of the world-building.
It's truly amazing how their “uniqueness” seeps into their art. I have nothing but respect.
It's been 20 days since I started AI illustration.
I think I'd like to start finding my own “uniqueness” soon.
That said, it's not like I can suddenly say "This is my art style!", so today I decided to try setting a theme.
【Theme: Chinese × Cyberpunk × Tiger Girl】
I love Chinese-style designs.
If it's a carnivore, a tiger might be my favorite.
So, I tried generating a Chinese tiger girl in a cyberpunk style.
Because of games, I had a strong image of cyberpunk being "funky and rugged," so I had been avoiding it a bit, but...
When I tried generating it, it was surprisingly cute.

The timing is also perfect for pumpkin colors.

Everyone, how do you prevent that?

Standing portraits are fun, like looking at a game's setting material collection ☺️

there's the two-ears problem, right.

I had the ears hidden.
Kung fu pose.

Cute category.

Every time the generation progresses, my heart beats a little faster.
Wondering what kind of form she will be born in.
Even if 9 out of 10 are failures, strangely, I don't mind.
Because there is the joy of encountering that one piece where I think, "This is it!"
Even when drawing with AI, my own preferences get mixed in. That might be a small bit of individuality, too.
It's not the machine drawing; it's me seeping through the machine. I'll work hard on studying prompts so I can express my thoughts through AI, even if just a little 💪
Today's tiger girls aren't quite at the level of "That's my art!" yet, but I feel like I've seen a glimpse of my own outline.
Without rushing, I want to slowly nurture my “uniqueness”.
