Parody Songs and Sea Bream Rice. [Day 19]
The other day, I wrote about my husband getting a promotion.
Since I am a former teacher, people often ask me, "Is your husband a teacher too?" but he is actually a company employee.
It seems to be a world where educational background is scrutinized strictly, and my husband tends to view his own background negatively.
However, I have never cared about that.
I believe people are not defined by their educational background. so I don't think about it.
Judging people by their educational background is like looking at them based on a sticker stuck on the surface, which I think is a huge waste.

I believe a person's charm lies in their deeper expressions, their humanity, and the words they speak.
My husband has things that I don't, and that was what made him so attractive to me.
And that was not his educational background.
So, what is it?
……
It is his [skill for making parody songs]. (Wait, what?)
He is incredibly good at making parody songs.
I have lived a serious life and have absolutely no "skill for saying funny things," but by marrying my husband, I have been exposed to his [funny parody song skill] on a daily basis.
Parody songs are dangerous, you know.
I can't stop laughing. I even laugh when I remember them while I'm out. Well, he writes such outrageous lyrics that I think they would be banned from broadcast here.
Thanks to that funny skill, he was able to marry a wife eight years his junior.
See? That's more important than educational background, right?
To celebrate my husband's raise, I received Onomichi Fresh Fish Store's sea bream rice.

I won this by entering an event held on Onomichi Fresh Fish Store's X account. I'm so grateful...!! I've been looking forward to this ever since it arrived.

I cooked it right away for our celebration♡

This is definitely going to be delicious!!!
My husband was so excited that he broke up the sea bream right away. (Sorry for the un-Instagrammable photo!!)
The wonderful aroma of the broth and the moist, savory sea bream were amazing. The mushrooms and carrots were also well-seasoned and delicious!!!
The kids loved it too, so it disappeared in no time...!!
It was so delicious that I thought,
'Maybe I'll buy some for my parents' house next time so we can all eat it together♪'
, and I pulled out my phone to go to the order page.
Spring break starts today. I thought it would be a perfect gift to celebrate relatives moving up a grade or starting a new school♡
A highly recommended gem. Please give it a try♡
