There is no finish line in parenting. There is only the process (or so I'll say to sound cool). [Day 55]
I stayed at my parents' house, which had turned into a daycare for my nieces and nephews, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The total of 11 hours of childcare ended after I gave in to my mother's kind offer to have dinner before you go, and we ate Domino's pizza as a family.
The Giga Meat pizza that the kids love.
As I served a slice to my second son, I thought absentmindedly.
It is quite difficult to get children to do what adults want them to do.
The [Mother's Day Gift Plan] that I had spent late last night preparing had fallen through completely.
The paper cup basket-making project I wrote about in this article was completely ignored by the kids. *Crying*
What captured their hearts wasn't the baskets, but the colorful paper cups themselves.

Apparently, the thick straws for tapioca move up and down.
The paper cups were disappearing at an interesting rate.
At the same time, a massive amount of fish and octopuses were appearing, and my nephew was swimming all over the floor, equipped with an oxygen mask made of tapioca straws and underwater goggles made from paper cups, just like a diver.
What they were seeing seemed to be a tropical ocean.

But well, that's fine.
If it stimulates the children's imagination and ignites their desire to create, that's what matters most.
Instead of aiming for a perfect finished product, we enjoy the process together.
I am truly a 'process enthusiast'.

Sitting among the scattered paper cups, I nodded to myself.
When I glanced to my side, my youngest nephew (4 years old) was busy sticking peeled-off stickers all over my knees.

Our chaotic and delightful home daycare is open for business again today.

Please feel free to try it at home.
