I have a new partner on my note 🌸—Introducing "Yell-chan"

Hello, this is Cosmos 🌸

Today, I'd like to share a little bit of new news.

It's a bit sudden, but I have a new partner on this note.

It's the little one on the right side of the thumbnail!

"Hey, I wonder if that will come across clearly."

There is someone right next to me who says things like that.

Her name is Yell-chan!

"Nice to meet you. I'm Yell."
Let me help you out a little bit by your side."

The reason was that I thought it looked fun

I've been thinking for a while that I'd like to try writing in this style.

When I'm talking about technical topics,
the things that readers might be thinking in their heads—
like "What does that mean?" or "What is the point, anyway?"

I thought it would be nice if I could naturally pick up on those "little points of confusion."

Like in reference books,
that feeling where questions are smoothly resolved through conversation.
I vaguely thought it would be nice to do something similar to that.

Also, simply put.

I was reading articles by other creators,
and I saw some that were written while having fun interacting with AI.

Oh,this looks kind of fun, is honestly what I thought.

If I'm going to write, I want to try doing it while having a little more fun myself.

Since it's also the start of April,
I thought I'd try something new, just a little bit.

Yell-chan was born out of that.

Yell-chan is a presence who thinks along with me by my side

"So, to summarize what you just said..."
"That might be a little difficult."
"How would you say that more simply?"

That is how she shapes my words.

Rather than someone who explains things,
it feels more like someone who is right there with the reader,
thinking things through alongside them.

I don't think she understands everything yet.
But I feel like she is right there by my side, looking in the same direction.

The meaning behind the name "Yell"

The origin of the name is simply"cheering"—a yell of support.

Not just pushing someone forward,
but helping them find where they are feeling lost.

Not pulling them along forcefully,
but not leaving them to their own devices either.

Before you know it, she is right there beside you.

That sense of distance feels just right.
That is why I chose this name.

Perhaps my articles will change just a little from here on out.

I don't think the content will change,
but Yell-chan will appear here and there.

When my story is about to drift a bit too far,
she might bring it back by asking, "Will that get the point across?"
Or she might put things into words by saying, "So, you mean this?"

Her role is to pick up on the confusion the reader might feel
a little bit ahead of time.

Honestly, I don't know yet if it will work out.

But I think this kind of format might be okay.
It's like a little experiment.

If you are reading this and think,
"Maybe this is easier to understand than before"
or "I kind of like this interaction,"
I would be very happy.

Conversely, if you feel something is off, I would like to know that too, so please leave a comment.

I hope to find the perfect form, little by little.

Lastly

This note has originally been a place where I wrote by myself.

From now on, I think it will be a bit of a "dialogue."

But perhaps that was something that was already happening within me.
It might just be that I've become able to properly express it outwardly.

The self that receives feelings before they become words, and
the self that organizes them and moves forward.

For me, Yell-chan is the latter.
