Moving from Learning About AI to Using It for Work
We are hosting the first AI work skills seminar for business owners and professionals.
Recently, I have been receiving more consultations about AI.
What can ChatGPT actually do?
I am interested, but I do not know where to start.
I know it can be used for work, but I do not know how to apply it to my own tasks.
I am afraid of information leaks or incorrect answers, so I cannot bring myself to use it.
I want to make it available for employees and within the office, but I cannot decide on the rules.
I often hear these comments from business owners, professionals, and sole proprietors.
On the other hand, AI is no longer a special tool used only by a select few.
Writing emails.
Summarizing meeting minutes.
Creating drafts for proposals.
Polishing explanatory text.
Brainstorming social media posts.
Inventorying business tasks.
Creating prototypes for small business tools.
In these daily tasks, AI has become a sufficiently usable tool.
However, what is important here is not
becoming an expert in AI.
What is important is
understanding how to use it in your own work,
how much to leave to AI and where humans should make the decisions,
and what to be careful about to use it safely.
Therefore, we are holding a four-part AI utilization seminar series for business owners, professionals, and sole proprietors.
Seminar Title
The First AI Work Skills Seminar for Business Owners and Professionals
The content allows you to learn step-by-step, from the basics of AI to practical application and creating small business tools.
Goals of this seminar
The goal of this seminar is not to become an AI expert.
The goal is to move from a state of knowing about AI to
a state of being able to use AI for work.
For example, we aim for you to be able to do the following:
・Understand what AI is, what it is good at, and what it is bad at
・Understand the precautions when using AI
・Organize where you can use AI in your own work
・Create emails, meeting minutes, proposals, and explanatory text using AI
・Check AI output and rewrite it in your own words
・Organize business tasks using GPT
・Understand the workflow for creating small business tools using tools like Claude Code
AI is not a magic tool.
It does not always answer everything correctly.
You cannot leave all professional judgments to it.
You should not input personal or confidential information without protection.
That is precisely why you need a correct understanding and a mindset for applying it to practical work.
Content of the 4-part series
This seminar is a 4-part series.
You are welcome to attend only the sessions that interest you.
However, by attending all four sessions, you can understand the process step-by-step, from learning about AI to applying it to actual work and even creating your own business tools.
Session 1: Getting to Know AI
AI Work Skills for Business Owners and Professionals: Getting to Know AI
2026/07/11 (Sat) 19:00–21:00
https://peatix.com/event/5044840
The first session is the gateway to using AI.
What is AI?
What can it do?
What is it not good at?
What should you be careful about when using it for work?
I will organize these basics in an easy-to-understand way for beginners.
If you feel that AI is:
“Too difficult”
“Risky”
“Going to take my job”
“Irrelevant to me”
then this is the session you should attend first.
In this session, we will unravel your anxieties about AI and organize the first steps toward using it in your work.
Session 2: Applying It to Your Work
AI Work Skills for Business Owners and Professionals: Applying It to Your Work
2026/07/25 (Sat) 19:00–21:00
https://peatix.com/event/5044842
In the second session, we will think about how to utilize AI in your own work.
You understand that AI seems convenient.
But you don't know where to use it in your own tasks.
I believe many people are stuck at this stage.
Therefore, while taking stock of your own work, we will look at:
・Things you can leave to AI
・Things you can have AI help with
・Things that humans should decide
・Things that are better left alone for now
We will organize these.
AI utilization does not begin with introducing tools.
It starts by breaking down your own work and finding where AI can make things easier.
In this session, we aim to create a personalized AI utilization map.
Session 3: Putting It into Practice
AI Work Techniques for Business Owners and Professionals: Putting It into Practice
Saturday, August 1, 2026, 19:00–21:00
https://peatix.com/event/5044843
Session 3 is the practical session.
Instead of just watching, we will actually use AI to create deliverables.
For example,
• Email drafts
• Meeting minutes
• Summaries
• Proposal outlines
• Explanatory text for clients
• Social media posts
• Announcement text
Using these as subjects, you will experience how to prompt AI, verify outputs, make corrections through follow-up instructions, and refine the text into your own words.
AI output is not a finished product.
It is merely a draft.
That is precisely why
“How to ask”
“What to check”
“How to correct”
“How to make it your own”
are so important.
In this session, we aim for you to leave with text and prompts that you can use in your actual work by the time the seminar ends.
Session 4: Creating Business Tools with AI
AI Work Techniques for Business Owners and Professionals: Creating Business Tools with AI
Saturday, August 22, 2026, 19:00–21:00
https://peatix.com/event/5044844
Session 4 covers slightly more advanced content.
Beyond just using AI to create text, you will experience the process of building small tools tailored to your own work.
However, this session is not a programming course.
The goal is not to become able to write code.
The goal is to understand the flow of small-scale development in the AI era, which consists of:
・Having GPT organize your ideas
・Having GPT create a draft of requirements definitions
・Having GPT write development prompts for Claude Code
・Sending them to Claude Code
・Having a human review and make corrections
This is the flow of small-scale development in the AI era.
What business owners and professionals need is not to become programmers.
What is needed is the
ability to correctly place orders with AI
.
In this session, we will select one 'business tool you want to create' from the pre-session survey and experience the process of building a small prototype.
Recommended for the following people:
・Those who are interested in AI but don't know where to start
・Those who have used ChatGPT etc., but are not using it for work
・Those who spend too much time creating emails, meeting minutes, and proposals
・Those who want to utilize AI for business efficiency and productivity improvement
・Those who want to promote AI utilization within their company or office
・Those who want to know the precautions for using AI safely
・Those who are interested in AI development support tools such as Claude Code
・Those who want to see the process of creating small business tools with AI
We will speak from a practical perspective, especially for business owners, professionals, and sole proprietors.
To become someone who can 'use' AI
I believe AI will become an unavoidable tool in our future work.
However, using AI itself is not the goal.
What is truly important is that by using AI, you can:
・Reduce work time
・Increase time for thinking
・Make explanations easier to understand
・Speed up information organization
・Improve the quality of responses to staff and customers
・Discover new possibilities for business improvement
These are the goals.
Once you become good at using AI, the way you approach your daily work will change slightly.
Bounce ideas off AI before thinking about them alone.
Have AI create a draft before writing text from scratch.
Don't leave meeting notes unattended; have AI organize them.
Take stock of your tasks and find areas you can delegate to AI.
Prototype small tools and explore possibilities for business improvement.
Such small accumulations create space in your work.
Finally
AI is not just for a select few.
However, if you just use it aimlessly, it will be difficult to integrate into your work.
Understand AI correctly,
apply it to your own work,
try using it in practice,
and even progress to creating small business tools as needed.
We will learn this process together over the course of four sessions.
From "knowing" about AI,
to "using" AI for work.
