There is no right answer to that kindness
When you see someone crying, what would you do?
Some people might gently speak to them,
while others might watch over them silently from nearby.
There is no such thing as one being right or the other being wrong.
Because if speaking up is kindness,
then watching over them in silence is also a wonderful form of kindness.
Kindness is a mysterious thing.
Gentleness is a mysterious thing.
For both of them,
"You must do this"
there are no such rules.
The kindness of drawing close,
the kindness of keeping a distance,
the kindness of speaking words,
the kindness of watching over quietly
are all equally precious and equally important.
Because the very "feeling" of trying to be close to someone's heart
is the essence of kindness.
It is okay to have a smile within tears.
Even if you are sad,
if there is a moment where you find yourself laughing for some reason,
it does not mean your heart is forcing itself.
Because tears and smiles are not contradictory,
they are both "proof that the heart is moved."
Laughing while crying,
crying while laughing,
both are wonderful things.
Emotions are beautiful precisely because they are not simple.
Joy and sadness can exist at the same time.
In any form,
there is not a single lie in the feeling of caring for someone.
You may speak to them, or you may not.
You may support them, or you may watch over them gently.
You may laugh, or you may cry.
The most important thing is
to have the feeling of thinking "for the sake of the other person."
If you have that feeling,
no action you take is wrong.
Therefore,
you can be confident in your own kindness.
Your thoughtfulness
reaches someone's heart in any form.
When you see someone crying,
when you see someone crying.
Today, too, please be there for someone
with your own unique kindness.
"I have to do this"
is not a rule you have to follow.
Just that alone,
just that alone.
It will surely warm someone's heart.
