A small realization brought by an early morning
Good evening, it's Miki❤️
I woke up a little earlier than usual this morning.
Since I was up, I decided to leave the house 30 minutes earlier.
Even though it was just that, the morning scenery looked
a little different.
It's a path I always walk, but the air felt different.
The people passing by and the flow of the crowd heading to the station
were just a little different from the usual time.
I thought it was "the same every day,"but I realized that just by changing the time a little,
what you see
changes.
The thing that left the biggest impression on me was
the scent offresh green leavesthat I suddenly noticed.
In the warmth and humidity of this morning,
there was a clear sign of the season.
The soft air of fresh greenery, as if moving from spring to early summer.
Even though it was a busy morning, for that one moment,
I felt like stopping in my tracks.
When you spend your time the same way as always,
while it's comforting, everything can become
monotonous before you know it.
But if you shift your time just a little,
there are things you can see and feel that are new.
You don't have to change anything in a big way.
Try walking a different path,
try leaving a little earlier,
try taking a different train,
even with such small changes, your mood can surprisingly shift.
Especially when you are lost or feeling a bit stuck in a rut,
rather than rushing to find an "answer,"it might be good to start by incorporating these kinds of small changes.
A morning 30 minutes earlier
didn't teach me anything particularly special.
But I felt like it gently taught me that even in my usual daily life,
there are still things I haven't noticed yet.
