On my way home from work, as usual,
I opened my smartphone.

On my social media timeline,
there were many posts lined up.

"I held a workshop."

"I started a new challenge."

"I received support from so many people."

Every post was wonderful, and

"That's amazing,"

I felt that way.

But, the very next moment,

"What am I doing?"

Such a small sense of impatience
showed its face in my heart.

There are many things I want to do.

But all of them are still halfway done.

I want to create a worldview.

I want to write articles.

I want to learn about AI.

I want to deepen my tarot practice.

Yet, I felt like
I hadn't completed a single thing...

With that feeling,
I drew a card again today.


Today's card is──

12. "The Hanged Man"

Honestly, at first, I was a little disappointed.

"Stagnation"

"Unable to move"

Because those images came to mind.

But, while gazing at the card,
I suddenly thought,

"What is this card
actually trying to tell me?"

When I closed my eyes while holding that question,

Before I knew it, I was
walking through a quiet night forest.

The cobblestones illuminated by moonlight,

the warm light visible through the trees,

that place was──

Today, too, in the Heart's Transit Lounge,
the four guardians were waiting for me.

At the round table where the fireplace fire crackled quietly,

in the center,
the "Hanged Man" card was placed.

I sat down in a chair
and whispered softly,

"Lately..."

"Every time I see someone else's success, I get impatient."

"I see. That's painful, isn't it?"

Lilia laughed while flapping her wings.

"But you know, I don't think the Hanged Man is
a 'card of being unable to move'."

"It's a card that shows you a different view
than usual!"

"Instead of asking 'Why can't I move forward?',

maybe it's asking,

'What can I see because it's now?'"

Seraphina closed her book quietly.

"Lilia's words are very wonderful."

"What caught my attention was the emotion of 'impatience'."

"Impatience is actually born from the wish to grow."
"But when that wish turns into 'I am still not enough',

it makes you suffer."

Seraphina smiled gently.
"I feel like the Hanged Man is saying,

'Why don't you accept yourself as you are now?'

rather than 'Try harder'."

The firewood in the fireplace made a popping sound.

"Don't dig up your own seeds just because you see someone else's harvest."

I burst out laughing.
"...I'm likely to do that."

Komachi's mouth relaxed just a little.

"Cherry blossoms and sunflowers don't bloom on the same day."

"They just bloom in different seasons."

"You are living your own season right now."

I looked at the Hanged Man card
once more.

At first, I thought it was a card of "stagnation".
But to me today, it looks a little different.

It's not that I'm stopped right now,

it's a time to grow roots in a place I can't see.

It's not that the card gave me the answer.

Through the dialogue with the four of them,

I was able to return the question to myself.
So, what I'm taking home today is not an "answer",

but a single question.
