No Technical Jargon Needed! The Easiest Way to Start Marketing by Organizing "Who, What, and Why You Are Delivering" in 3 Steps
Hello!
I'm Sanae Tabata, and I support marketing for small and medium-sized enterprises.
"I want to increase sales for my small business. But I don't know where to start."
I am writing this article for you.
When you hear the word "marketing," you might imagine difficult theories or digital tools. However, based on my experience in supporting sales channel expansion and communication for small businesses, I can tell you that there are only three things you need to organize first.
Just by putting into words "who, what, and why you are delivering," your methods of communication and sales will gradually become clear.
"Honestly, I don't really know what the strengths of our products are."

Conclusion: "Strengths" are almost always found outside of the product itself.
When you look at your own products every day, you gradually lose sight of "what is so amazing about them." That is only natural.
You have customers. Sometimes they come from far away. They buy in large quantities. But you don't know "why they buy" or "what they are truly happy about".
Marketing is "creating a mechanism for products and services to sell." Your "strengths" are hidden not just in product specifications, but in the dedication behind them, the owner's vision and history, and the relationship with your customers.
First, try asking yourself these three questions.
What kind of dedication do you have when making this product?
Why do you have that dedication?
What were the words from customers that made you happy?
The answers to these three questions will be the gateway to the "selling words" for your company.
"I want everyone to buy it, so I can't narrow down my target."

Conclusion: If you narrow down your target, your sales will increase.
"Selling to everyone" is actually the same as "reaching no one."
The foundation of marketing is deeply addressing the worries of a specific someone. By narrowing down your target, your words become concrete, and you will be able to communicate in a way that makes people feel, "This is about me."
The key to narrowing down is not just age, gender, or occupation, but putting into words what kind of worries the customers who are actually happy right now have, and what triggered them to choose you.
That alone will change the path to expanding your sales channels.
If possible, try to picture a specific customer and make them your "intended target." It is also effective to interview them directly.
"I want to start posting, but where should I even begin—SNS or note?"

Conclusion: For small and medium-sized enterprises, 90% of posting is about "what to write" rather than "where to write it."
People tend to talk about the means—whether to start SNS, write on note, or issue press releases. However, if you haven't decided "who, what, and why you are delivering," no tool will work.
From my experience managing note accounts and creating over 50 press releases, effective posts have one thing in common. That is, they are written from the perspective of the reader's problems, not the writer's perspective.
Instead of "product descriptions," simply writing in the format of "this is how we solved this specific problem for this customer" will completely change how your content is read.

Posting support: Proven track record with over 50 press releases and note account management
Why rely on Sanae Tabata?

After graduating from law school, I worked in the finance department of a major hotel for 5 years and 4 months. Through profit and loss management and budget formulation, I acquired the "ability to read sales and profits through numbers."
Since then, I have shifted to supporting SMEs and local businesses, providing end-to-end support for posting, from the planning stage of product development to press releases (over 50 successful cases) and note account management.
As a local confectionery enthusiast, I always maintain a perspective that allows me to feel firsthand why consumers choose certain products. My strength lies in SME marketing that fuses these two aspects—neither just knowledge nor just intuition.

Q. I don't use SNS at all; can I still receive posting support?
Yes. I also handle posting design from scratch. We will think together about which tools are a good fit.
Q. Can local companies also consult with you?

Q. How much does it cost?
It varies depending on the content and scale. Please first consult with me via the inquiry form. I will provide a proposal after hearing your needs.
