A morning when my legs were shaking. What it means to "move forward without running away." I made a vow in front of business owners this morning.

Hello, this is Ouchi Relax Cocoa.

I woke up a little early this morning to attend a morning seminar held by the local "Rinri Hojinkai" (Ethics Corporate Association). Actually, I had been entrusted with the major role of giving a member speech today.

My allotted time was 5 minutes. It was only 5 minutes, but for me, it was as nerve-wracking as being at the starting line of a full marathon—no, even more so.

In my speech, I talked about the journey to creating "Cocoa" as it is today. The turbulent days from 2024 to 2025. My wife's poor health, my own mental anxiety, and the day I decided to leave stability behind to "work by my wife's side." And the nights I couldn't sleep when starting from zero.

It takes courage to expose your own "weaknesses" and "struggles" in front of others. But after I finished speaking, the senior business owners gave me warm words like "That was good" and "Your passion came through," and the tension in my heart suddenly lifted.

I am a runner. Just as no one starts running backward when told to "Run!", no matter how painful things get, I have no choice but to look forward and take it one step at a time.

I feel like I was telling myself those words while I was giving my speech.

By putting it into words and "outputting" it, my resolve has become even stronger. I want to take the warm energy I received today and return it by providing care to my customers.

It was a morning that tightened both my body and mind. From today on, I will keep running, one step at a time!
