When in a pinch, try saying out loud, 'This is getting interesting.'
To all of you living busy days,
at work, at school, at home,
do you find yourself casually using words like
'busy' or 'difficult'?
Actually, there is a company that has banned these words.
This is because negative words tend to follow after 'busy' or 'difficult'.
However, in reality, things can be busy and difficult,
and you might find yourself about to say them.
So, they apparently use these alternative words instead.
If you are about to say 'busy,' say 'in high demand' instead.
If you feel something is 'difficult,' try rephrasing it
as 'interesting'.
The Japanese word for 'busy' is written with characters meaning 'to lose one's heart,' but
just by rephrasing it to 'I'm really in high demand today,'
you shift from a desolate state to a fun and positive one.
Also, if you say 'difficult' out loud,
solving the problem really does become difficult.
However, if you declare it to be 'interesting,'
you may be freed from negative thinking
and be able to overcome the pinch.
I found this story in a book titled 'Surrender Theory: Accepting the Self That Cannot Do' (by Yuki Takamori), and I resonated with it deeply.
The society that surrounds us is made of words.
If you say 'difficult,' it appears before you as a difficult world,
and if you say 'interesting,' it appears as a fun and interesting world.
In other words, the world is created by words.
And a person's heart is also created by the words they use.
So, here is a proposal.
Why don't you also try consciously rephrasing these two words
starting today?
And observe what happens to your own heart.
You will surely have changed into someone more positive, creative,
and on top of that, tougher than you were yesterday.
Changing your words is the easiest form of self-transformation.
It is a method you can start right away today,
so I highly recommend it.
Thank you for reading until the end.
