Fireworks.
Fireworks are amazing.
The many people at the fireworks venue.
Surely, in their daily lives, they each carry many worries and anxieties.
In the midst of busy days, some may be so desperate to get through what is right in front of them that they don't even have the luxury of looking up at the sky.
But the people at the fireworks venue are different.
They gather in the same place at the same time, looking up at the pitch-black night sky in the same way, waiting for that moment.
The feeling of praying for weather and wind suitable for fireworks is surely the same as well.
Once the fireworks go up,
everyone is glued to the sky in the same way.
The silence between the fireworks.
Praying for the success of the next launch, holding their breath.
When the fireworks go up safely, they cheer with joy.
Everyone shares the same ups and downs at the same time.
The eyes looking up at the fireworks sparkle, and regardless of age or gender, everyone has an innocent expression.
Some even shed tears.
When you look up, your heart naturally looks up too.
Beautiful fireworks sweep away the stagnation of the heart.
Surely, there is no room for the anxieties of daily life to enter there.
It is as if,
the sight of fireworks and the people looking up at the sky is a form of hope.
Not a brilliant blue sky or a sunset,
nor a celestial show of the century,
but large flowers created by human hands on a pitch-black canvas make people look up at the sky.
The sound of fireworks inspires the heart.
Overwhelming particles of colorful light illuminate the soul.
I start to feel like I can do my best again starting tomorrow.
Fireworks are amazing.

Days that are surprisingly hot continue, but we have reached the beginning of autumn on the calendar.
Every week, festivals are held somewhere, and then they end one after another.
The Nagaoka Fireworks have ended, and the Niigata Fireworks ended last week as well.
We will soon reach the Obon season, and the season will likely accelerate further from summer to autumn.
When I think about that,
I feel a little lonely, realizing that this summer, which seemed like it would last forever, is definitely coming to an end and heading toward winter.
This time, with that sense of melancholy in mind, I wrote down what I thought while watching the fireworks venue on a television broadcast.
It is embarrassing, but I couldn't help wanting to write it.
I believe note is a place with a deep heart, so I posted it without thinking twice.
I hope you'll watch over me with kind eyes, thinking that my head has boiled over from the heat.
This summer, I've been feeling intimidated by the constant poor health, the heat, and the crowds, so it doesn't look like I'll be able to go to any fireworks festivals, but...
I'll just leave my longing for fireworks here.
