My Appearance, Vibe, Personality, and What I Value - Self-Introduction -
—I am Mizuasagi Yu—
Yu is my real name, written with the character for 'gentle' (優).
When I was a child, I was told that the origin of my name was that my parents saw the name of the singer Yu Hayami and thought it was a lovely name, and they wanted me to become a gentle person.
However, when I asked again a few years ago,
“The kanji for Yu (優) is written as 'loving people a hundred times,' you know,”my mother said.
…I think that’s very lovely, but
“That’s the first time I’ve heard that today, but is it true! Did you just learn that on TikTok recently? Haha.”I thought to myself.
(My mother is even more addicted to YouTube and TikTok than I am.)
Either way,
I am often complimented on having a nice name, and since it’s easy to call me 'Yu-chan',
I really like it.
Nice sense, Mom.
▼ This is how I decided on my creator name
▼ Appearance
My nose is extremely high, haha.
When I was a child, I didn't understand what having a 'high nose' meant, and even though I knew it was a compliment,I didn't like being told that my nose was high.
However, one day, I decided to look at my profile in a mirror for the first time.
“It’s so high!!”I was shocked.
I was convinced why people kept telling me that.
If you’re going to draw a portrait of me, just emphasize the nose and you’re good.
▼ Vibe
I am often told thatI’m fluffy, a bit of an airhead…but honestly, I’m not really aware of it. Especially regarding being an airhead, I’ve tried thinking about it from every angle, but I still have no idea what makes me an airhead… haha.
Conversely, my image at work (at the day service center) seems a bit different. My colleagues don’t call me the fluffy type. Users who have known me for a long time affectionately call me things likethe boss, scary when angry. My self-image is more of a
match! (Old school)Yes, I’m a people-pleaser who changes characters depending on the situation.
TPO is important, yes, yes.
Both are me, so that’s fine.
Being seen as an airhead or being a people-pleaser,the old me would have tended to think of these negatively, like 'I don't like that.'However, after passing 35, I’ve become able to just accept myself no matter what, and now anything goes.Wait, is this what they call the 'Obatarian' (pushy middle-aged woman) mindset… (even older 🤣)
▼ Part of my personality
Ilove stimulation,so I want to have many experiences. Yet, I have the mysterious trait ofgetting tired easily from stimulation,soI need regular rest.(The difference between my on and off modes is extreme.)
I am usually calm, but I tell people what I think is necessary. I even say things that are hard to say. But I don’t let it drag on into our relationship afterward. Even if we clash, I’ll talk to them normally afterward. That is that.
I’m the type who can become friends with an ex-lover without it being awkward.
▼ Things I value in my daily life
“Smiles and honesty.”
I’ve always been good at smiling.
I can confidently say that my image to everyone is 'a person who is always smiling.'
Conversely,I didn't have much confidence regarding honesty. The habit of thinking deeply about people's words makes me a difficult person who can't take words at face value. To put it simply, reading into the hidden meaning of compliments, for example.
It’s not just words, butI learned a few years ago that I often don't even understand my own honest feelings. Now, I consciously try to
listen to people's words with an honest heart, and when I feel uneasy about something,
I try to unravel my true feelings. To make life go well,
smiles and honesty are the strongest.
▼ There was a time when I couldn't keep a job
▼ In other words, I am
Someone with a high nose, who looks fluffy at first glance but is actually a boss, who spent their youth desperately trying to overcome self-denial through trial and error, but then realized the 'Obatarian' spirit of just accepting things, who loves stimulation but is extremely weak to it, is always smiling, and is currently training to acquire honesty—
Mizuasagi Yu—I look forward to your support 😌🌼
