I've finally made it this far. "Unraveling the 'Something's Off' in AI" releases 1/31

I've only been able to make it this far thanks to all of you who supported me with your likes and comments. Thank you so much.

The "Something's Off in AI" series I've been writing on note is now becoming a book.
The title is “Unraveling the 'Something's Off' in AI”. It will be released on 1/31.

If AI writing feels "polished but doesn't hit home," it's not your fault.

AI is incredibly talented.
But when it comes to writing, haven't you experienced things like this?

・It's polite and correct, but it doesn't leave an impression
・What it says is accurate, but it doesn't get read
・No matter how much you instruct it, it ends up like a "60-point honor student"

I collectively call this "something's off".
And I believe this "something's off" is less of an AI flaw and more of—a signal that it's time for humans to step in.

What is a "togaki" (stage direction)? In short, it's a "note to ensure it lands."

"Togaki" is a term from the TV industry, referring to performance instructions written into a script.
For example, beyond just the dialogue, it includes:

・With what tone
・With what timing
・With what intent

It's a note meant to convey even that "way of delivering."

This also works for AI.

Prompts tend to become "commands," but togaki are "direction."
Instead of making AI output an "answer," make it shape it so it lands.
That difference changes the atmosphere of the writing.

I turned it into a book because I wanted to make it into a "form anyone can use."

Togaki is a term from the TV production floor, but what it involves is simple.
"Refining words so they reach the other person." That's all it is.

This task isn't just needed in the TV industry anymore.
Emails, proposals, social media, profiles... anyone who uses AI is doing this every day.

That's why I didn't make it a difficult book for experts, but summarized it in a form that ordinary people can use at work.
It's a book to help you take the helm instead of being pushed around by AI.
