Golden Kamuy Pilgrimage Record ~Hokkaido Historical Village Edition Part 3~
The Hokkaido Historical Village edition is reaching its climax.
Time for a little break here 😎🚬
The real thrill of traveling is the food!!
There is one cafeteria in the Historical Village, located right to the right of the entrance, and it opened at 11:00 AM.
I went in right after it opened for brunch.

I was torn between this and the Yanshu set meal, but I decided to go with the herring soba that appears in the main story.
After I finished eating, the Nikaido brothers didn't come to attack me... or anything like that.
For those of you who thought, 'Is the herring just sitting on top? That looks hard to eat!!'
That wasn't the case at all!!!
It was designed so you could just gobble it up from the edge normally.
Those of you planning to try it can rest easy 😌
The herring soba itself was truly hinna, but the green onions on top were seriously delicious!
It is quite salty, though, so you might want some rice with it.

Now that I've fueled up, let's head into the final stretch! 💪

Who would have thought that the photo of Genjiro-chan taken here would also play a role (?) in Karafuto.
I actually wanted to go inside and see the photography room, but the staff member seemed to be standing by the whole time, so I felt awkward and couldn't go in... (I'm a chicken)
I'm also not good with clothing store clerks.
Is there anyone who is actually good with them?

The photo looks lovely with the sunlight streaming in, but in the original work, this is the tense scene where Lieutenant Tsurumi interrogates Asirpa, isn't it?
I heard the exterior of the building is the church that appears in Rinichiro Sekiya's flashback, but I forgot to take a picture of it... (Oink!)

The entrance in the photo looks way too dark, like something out of a horror movie...

This is the setting for the scene where everyone eats the swan that Ogata caught after rejoining the Hijikata group.

Sleeping side-by-side like that, is this a school trip?!
'Do you have a crush on anyone in your class?'
The Hijikata group has been way too cute since the Karafuto arc.

Actually, there were two staff members waiting at the entrance of this building, so I waited until other visitors went in before I entered (I'm a chicken).
And as I went further inside, I reached that stage...

"Patricide is a rite of passage for leaving the nest."
To think that the setting for this line and the actual scene where the parent was killed are modeled after the same building...

This post office was also a spot I was really looking forward to!
And finally...

Tomakomai Racecourse stables
The episode where Kiroranke becomes a jockey for Reppu

Back then, I only thought of Kiroranke as a good guy who cared about horses, but after reading the flashbacks, I thought he was a pretty passionate and great man💡

I thought the exterior looked different from the stables in Tomakomai, but it was exactly the same as the post station that appears briefly in Volume 12 (East ← noisy)! I was surprised!
...and that concludes the main photos from the Historical Village! (Even after writing this over three parts, is this still just the main part?)
I'm so glad I went!!
It is no exaggeration to say that this was the most moving place I visited on this trip!!!
I visited almost all the buildings said to be models for Golden Kamuy, but it took more than half a day💦
If you absolutely want to see everything, it would be best to set aside nearly a full day💡
The village is quite large, but there are restrooms everywhere, so you don't have to worry about sightseeing while fighting a different kind of tension😌 (suddenly talking about osoma)
If you have been to Meiji-mura, you should expect it to be about that large
I'm so glad I came to the Historical Village!!!!!!!!✊"
Time to say goodbye to Yuji Oda as well
Next up is the beer factory edition🍻
