So, for day 6, today I'm introducing a masterpiece that finished this year but is far too unknown!!

This work is a sci-fi series that concluded this year. It's super interesting, but nobody knows about it at all!!

There is data to back up how interesting it is. In Jump SQ., where 'This Communication' is serialized, there is a reader survey where they choose and vote for the 3 most interesting works out of the approximately 20 published.
Its average ranking in that survey is an incredible 2.03! If you limit it to the year before the final chapter, it's 1.66!
Jump SQ. is a magazine that serializes popular works that have even been adapted into anime, such as 'Blue Exorcist', 'World Trigger', and 'Rurouni Kenshin'.
Since it keeps getting these rankings among them, it's bound to be interesting.

Synopsis

In the latter half of the 20th century, a mysterious life form called 'Iperit' appeared, and humanity was almost wiped out. A small number survived in the highlands.

In the 21st century, in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, a former soldier named Deluha was searching for a human base but couldn't find one, and in despair, he attempted suicide, but was saved by a girl. She was a 'Huntress', genetically modified to fight against Iperit.

Deluha is appointed to command the six Huntresses and faces the Iperit attacks.

Impressions

The greatest appeal of this work... is the madness of the protagonist, a man named Deluha!!
That madness shines incredibly bright through its synergy with the story's setting!!

First, let me explain the premise.

The six Huntresses are essentially the ultimate cyborgs, possessing physical abilities that allow them to engage in solo close-quarters combat against Iperits, as well as immortality that allows their bodies to regenerate even after being killed.
However, they lack any sense of cooperation, and there is a danger that they will be completely defeated if attacked by multiple Iperits.

That is where another aspect of the Huntresses' design comes into play. They have a characteristic where, upon resurrection, they lose the memories of the hour leading up to their death.

This might seem like a flaw, but Deluha spots an opportunity here.

Because the Huntresses lack cooperation, they sometimes accidentally kill their own allies.

When that happens, Deluha kills the Huntress himself!!!!

By killing the Huntress himself, he erases the trauma of having killed an ally, allowing her to fight as she did before.
Deluha is a man who thinks hyper-rationally, and he is the type of guy who can easily commit inhumane acts as long as it is rational to do so.

Even after that, Deluha kills the Huntresses to make them listen to him, kills them if they become too dependent on him, and kills them if they find a weakness to exploit—he just keeps killing, killing, and killing them over and over again!!

Has there ever been a protagonist like this before!!??
He is a dark hero overflowing with incredible charm!!
